  • We LOVE Aardvark Child Care and Learning Center! The director, Ms. Janet, is committed to the center's mission statement of providing high quality care that fosters the social and academic development of children. She ensures that the facility is always clean, secure and provides a nuturing environment. Every teacher and staff member is kind, compassionate and devoted to fostering development through fun, challenging activities. We love that each day is structured with activites including reading, language, music, art, science and creative play. Thank you for making our experience great!

  • We were lucky enough to hear about Aardvark through word of mouth… it is such a hidden gem in the Glen Mills area. We have two children in the school currently and they truly love going there every day. Every staff member and teacher working there knows your child by name and says hello to them every day. Parents are encouraged to be involved, and you can tell they value quality over quantity when it comes to running the school. After leaving a different center in the area we are so happy to have found a place that feels like family.

  • Aardvark and the staff were an absolute blessing to have found after moving to the area and having little luck finding a pre-k program for my youngest daughter. I was so happy with the care and the education she received while attending for the pre-k counts program. Mrs. Amy and Mrs. Sandra were so sweet and patient with my sassy and wily little one, she misses them every day since summer began. Mrs. Janet and Amanda in the front office were always so helpful and informative with anything I needed. Each day, I would come in knowing that they were happy to see us walk through the door. I can not thank them enough for everything! Now we feel well prepared for the next year in Kindergarten.

  • We absolutely love Aardvark! My daughter loved every single teacher and everyone knew her name when they passed her in the hall. They offered the structure my daughter needed to thrive but also a ton of fun free play with her friends! I loved getting photos at the end of each day. This was my daughters 3rd daycare and by far our favorite!

Questions parents ask about Aardvark Child Care & Learning Ctr

Is Aardvark Child Care & Learning Ctr a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. Aardvark Child Care & Learning Ctr holds Pennsylvania certificate 100153334-0002, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Delaware County. The current certificate runs to April 1, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is Aardvark Child Care & Learning Ctr's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates Aardvark Child Care & Learning Ctr STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on October 14, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against Aardvark Child Care & Learning Ctr?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against Aardvark Child Care & Learning Ctr at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does Aardvark Child Care & Learning Ctr accept child care subsidy?

Yes. Aardvark Child Care & Learning Ctr holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 15.

Does this page show inspection results for Aardvark Child Care & Learning Ctr?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects Aardvark Child Care & Learning Ctr's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
