  • Im a first time mom and have been taking my now 10 week old there the past few weeks and I can say i absolutely love everyone there! So nice and my little girl smiles when she sees the teachers and leaves smilling. I was so nervous the first day and everyone was so helpful and understanding. I know my baby girl is in good hands and I couldnt be happier with our choice to come here for day school. Great staff and they care about your kid.

  • The entire team at Abington Day school has been wonderful. Our little one always is happy and smiling when I arrive to pick her up. Tells me what fun she had playing, coloring, and learning. And most Importantly she adores the staff, she has a hug for every teacher she sees, always running to give the director a hug. When we first enrolled I felt like I was letting strangers take care of my child, now it feels like a big community/ family. You only get that with people who really care and we love it.

  • I have two grandbabies that attend Abington Day School. I am very pleased with how kind and attentive the staff have been.

  • My 4 year old goes to pre-k here and absolutely loves it. He has progressed so much since he started attending ADS and I am so grateful he will be ready when he starts kindergarten in the fall. The director is also very attentive and gets back to you quickly with answers to your questions or any concerns.

  • My child has attended this school for about 4 months now and she really enjoys her time there. She is learning and is excited to go each day. The curriculum is appropriate, the staff are attentive and the children are having fun while they learn. With any change of leadership or staff, there are some hang-ups to expected, but I can honestly say that those are minor in comparison to the benefits I’ve seen in my child. If anything, it seems like the current director is making a clear effort to uphold standards and is professional. She is working hard to give each child and family a valuable experience. I would encourage any parent to come and see this school for yourself before making your decision.

  • We send both of our children here for over a year. I like the teachers and can tell that they care. Miss Louiza is wonderful. The kids get to do a variety of activities every day and seem to always have fun. Both kids are learning fast and are excelling.

Is ABINGTON DAY SCHOOL a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. ABINGTON DAY SCHOOL holds Pennsylvania certificate 103689113-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Montgomery County. The current certificate runs to May 8, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is ABINGTON DAY SCHOOL's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates ABINGTON DAY SCHOOL STAR 2, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on March 2, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against ABINGTON DAY SCHOOL?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against ABINGTON DAY SCHOOL at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does ABINGTON DAY SCHOOL accept child care subsidy?

Yes. ABINGTON DAY SCHOOL holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 17.

Does this page show inspection results for ABINGTON DAY SCHOOL?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects ABINGTON DAY SCHOOL's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
