  • The staff at Acclaim are so caring and pleasant. My child looks at them as family. Which makes me feel at ease while working. I am also impressed with the learning structure/curriculum that is being followed. Its like no other that Ive experienced in my area. Its a 5 star for me!!!

  • Before my son started going here , I had him at learning , laughing , growing childcare & that daycare was horrible ! This one is different .... I really love how everyone greet me in the morning . & actually lets me know how my son day want . They really gave my son a chance to get used to them . At the other day care they called me 4 days after him being there , telling me to come & get him because he cry a lot .... I really love this daycare so much even though he only been here for almost 3 weeks ... but it’s a huge difference from the last one also I love how everyone needs a passcode in order to get in , that way not just anyone can walk in .... I recommend this daycare to everyone !!

  • I moved to Philadelphia 5 years ago from Delaware and struggled to find a center for our then 4 yr old son. After ot being satisfied with several other centers we were pointed to Acclaim. We fell in love during our tour with the director Mr. Martin. It was exactly what we were looking for. It provided the engaging and challenging curriculum that our son needed. After excelling at Acclaim he was accepted into The Haverford School. He is now entering the 4th grade and is still excelling. We also enrolled our daughter once I went back to work when she was two and she too excelled at Acclaim. She is now 4 and will be entering the kindergarten this fall. Thank you Acclaim Academy staff for making our transition from Delaware to Philadelphia easy.

  • My son went here for a year (since age 2.5). I thought it was pretty great, at least compared to his last daycare (Brightside Academy). The staff seemed more professional, the curriculum seemed more educational, there were exotic class pets, and the school even hosted a lot of interesting forums for parents to discuss family and social issues. Oh yeah and they even taught Spanish and Chinese, tho my son of course could never remember anything he learned about anything (typical kid I guess). I did see the Chinese instructors, so I know they were real, despite one reviewer claiming they were an illusion.. :) My wife didn't really like the school, but then again she often didn't like anything that I did like, so it could have been at least partly due to that. Also, she is from New Jersey and she felt that PA schools in general were abysmal compared to NJ schools. Now, a year later, she is *still* in the process of finding a school she wants our son to go to. The ones she has in mind have year-long waiting lists and $150 application fees. For that trouble, they better be lightyears ahead of this school!

Questions parents ask about ACCLAIM ACADEMY

Is ACCLAIM ACADEMY a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. ACCLAIM ACADEMY holds Pennsylvania certificate 102804480-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to June 8, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is ACCLAIM ACADEMY's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates ACCLAIM ACADEMY STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on March 6, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against ACCLAIM ACADEMY?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against ACCLAIM ACADEMY at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does ACCLAIM ACADEMY accept child care subsidy?

Yes. ACCLAIM ACADEMY holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.

Does this page show inspection results for ACCLAIM ACADEMY?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects ACCLAIM ACADEMY's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
