  • Jill creates a joyful and welcoming environment where kindergarten students feel excited to learn Spanish. Her lessons are engaging, age-appropriate, and filled with music, movement, and meaningful interaction. She is patient, encouraging, and deeply attentive to her students’ needs, helping them build confidence while developing an early love of language learning.

  • I love Amigos. My son attended 4 years ago, it was only right to give my daughter the same amazing experience. They both have learned so much Spanish, gained confidence, and experienced so many cool activities. We love and appreciate Amigos 💚

  • Finding Amigos has been a transformative experience for our family. We were looking for more than just a childcare center; we wanted an environment that nurtured our children’s whole self. The holistic approach here is evident in everything they do—from the way they encourage emotional intelligence to the creative, immersive, and play-based curriculum. Our children don’t just ‘know’ Spanish; they are becoming truly bilingual in a way that feels natural and effortless. More importantly, the teachers have instilled a profound sense of confidence in our kids through the unconditional love and care they provide on a daily basis. Seeing our children bound into the classroom with a smile every morning is the greatest peace of mind a parent can have. Although I am proud to say my older child is 4 and ready to master Kindergarten, it is important to note that Amigos isn’t just preparing kids for kindergarten; they are creating lifelong learners who love school. P.S. If you enroll in extended day, students participate in after school activities like music, yoga, soccer, dance, and/or gymnastics.

  • In total our kids have spent 6 years at Amigos and we've got 1 more year until our youngest graduates - I'm already getting sad about that! Bottom line: Excellent education; professional & responsive staff; just a well-run, high quality school with a supportive community. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Thank you Cloe and team :)

  • Amigos is a truly incredible learning environment for young children. The teachers approach every day with thoughtfulness and creativity and care deeply about the children, and the school is clearly a positive working environment for the incredible team of native Spanish speaking women. Even the aftercare goes above and beyond - Amigos brings in outside programs like soccer, gymnastics, and music to enrich kids' days. We are so lucky to be part of the Amigos community – our daughter is thriving and we couldn’t wish for more!

  • To EVERYONE at Amigos. The final hours have passed and we reached the last time our little boy walked through the school as an official "amigo". It is very difficult to describe what I feel for Amigos and all of its staff. I am overwhelmed with joy thinking Amigos has been my son's first experience away from home and first school environment. Simply said, Amigos is wonderful and full of so much warmth and care and love. The impact and development that you have had on our son is critical and profound. It isn't only learning fundamental academic skills (as if that wasn't enough), but also the development of human interaction, manners, confidence, how best to exist in this world, in this life. Is is said those first 4-5 years are unbelievably important and if done well, that child is on a path to a wonderful future - and Amigos has now, without a doubt, been part of that work, of that effort. I mentioned to the teachers during graduation day that from your perspectives, you see so many children year after year but please realize that from a child's (and family) perspective, there is only one of each of you. From the moment he is greeted at the door in the morning to the walks through the halls to the "salones" and activities to the special events and finally to the "adios / chau" at the end of every day with a hug. Each of your faces, your smiles, your jokes, and even hugs are greatly cherished by our family. The Amigos staff carries with them hundreds of kids' faces and names and personalities. Our son will exit Amigos with a handful of teachers and staff that he will remember forever, trust me, he will. My only regret is not having brought our son to Amigos sooner, much sooner. Thank you Amigos! For everything. Not only the big obvious things but the little details and moments that many times go unnoticed or uncelebrated. I, as a papa, am watching my little boy move forward after Amigos with great pride and appreciation that you were there, as an extension of our family.

Yes. AMIGOS SPANISH IMMERSION PRESCHOOL holds Pennsylvania certificate 103551442-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to April 30, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is AMIGOS SPANISH IMMERSION PRESCHOOL's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates AMIGOS SPANISH IMMERSION PRESCHOOL STAR 2, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on December 8, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against AMIGOS SPANISH IMMERSION PRESCHOOL?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against AMIGOS SPANISH IMMERSION PRESCHOOL at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does AMIGOS SPANISH IMMERSION PRESCHOOL accept child care subsidy?

Yes. AMIGOS SPANISH IMMERSION PRESCHOOL holds a subsidy agreement with the state. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.

Does this page show inspection results for AMIGOS SPANISH IMMERSION PRESCHOOL?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects AMIGOS SPANISH IMMERSION PRESCHOOL's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
