  • excellent staff and daycare

  • I love Apple Pie. My son Jace has been attending this daycare for almost 2 years now. The staff are very informative & attentive. Ms. Wanda goes out her way to make sure all the children at Apple Pie are taken care of. Jace can’t stop talking about all the things they do in school.

  • Great teachers

    Ryan BroccoMay 25, 2017
  • They kicked my 2 year old out because we went on vacation and I guess they needed the money so they put another child in my baby place. I'm not mad cause they don't be having enough staff to cover a shift. They rugs are awful everytime I send my baby to school with white sneakers they come back black, they said they was gone clean it but never did. They need new rug. I had a problem with one of the teachers putting her hands on my 2 year old. If you are looking for a daycare to care for your child the way you do this is definitely not the daycare. These people are all about money.

Questions parents ask about Apple Pie Day Care

Is Apple Pie Day Care a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. Apple Pie Day Care holds Pennsylvania certificate 100336352-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Delaware County. The current certificate runs to December 27, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is Apple Pie Day Care's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates Apple Pie Day Care STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on February 23, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against Apple Pie Day Care?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against Apple Pie Day Care at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does Apple Pie Day Care accept child care subsidy?

Yes. Apple Pie Day Care holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 15.

Does this page show inspection results for Apple Pie Day Care?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects Apple Pie Day Care's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
