My kids go to summer camp here, and I am thrilled at all the activities they get to participate in. It's 9 weeks, and every week they do a different theme. There's cooking, nerf battles, field trips, snacks, magic Steve, walks at Asbury woods, an animal park, etc. I have to work so I love that my kids have fun things to do all summer. It's convenient, yet fun. You can't beat that. I highly recommend signing your child up. The directors there really listen to you're concerns, and want to make sure everything runs smoothly. They also provide lunch, and snacks for summer camp so 1 less worry in the morning when you're in a hurry.
Jenifer WilliamsFeb 16, 2026My child went to this school for a week and a half and within that time was assaulted and touched very inappropriately by another child repeatedly in her class. By the time she was able to tell us, the school claimed any footage was already erased. They claim that the cameras all over the classrooms only record 2 days before overwriting, so if your child is assaulted on a Wednesday and doesn’t let you know until the weekend, by the time you have a meeting with the school you will be told there’s nothing they can do. They gave the police the same runaround claiming all footage is erased after 2 days so we will never be able to have accountability and answers from this. Don’t let all the good reviews fool you. Protect your children.
Vertical SwitchSep 25, 2025The most genuinely concerned and loving teachers (Mr Kyle and Jailene) and director Ms Patti are here. It's my daughter's first exposure in daycare at 11months so separation anxiety was a real challenge, but they helped her and me adapt so well. I am very assured my baby is well taken care of. I've stayed a couple of times and I've really seen how this center is well managed and how the teachers are impressively trained. I am very thankful to CDC Asbury! 💖
Catherine PolicinaSep 28, 2024She is doing amazing! I just put her name in with the office about positive things happening in my classroom and said that she is a role model for expected behaviors on the carpet! She is always looking at me, hands folded on her laugh and ready to learn. I just love having her in class!
Foxy LadieSep 11, 2023Best childhood education center on the planet
Web DawgMar 1, 2023I got my GED here back in 2007, I remember the atmosphere was very ambient and calming. I totally forgot what it was called before it became the child development center

Questions parents ask about ASBURY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER
Is ASBURY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. ASBURY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 100221926-0037, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Erie County. The current certificate runs to October 9, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is ASBURY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates ASBURY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on August 27, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against ASBURY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against ASBURY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does ASBURY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. ASBURY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 1.
Does this page show inspection results for ASBURY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects ASBURY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
