Recent parent reviews

  • This school fails to provide their tax information for paying parents. It is truly a disgrace as this is a business and these documents should be provided to the parents in a timely manner. The owner gave several excuses and even said go find the information on the state website for the business (i.e. the business federal tax #)

Questions parents ask about ASCEND PRESCHOOL

Is ASCEND PRESCHOOL a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. ASCEND PRESCHOOL holds Pennsylvania certificate 104279862-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to July 10, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is ASCEND PRESCHOOL's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates ASCEND PRESCHOOL STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on January 10, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against ASCEND PRESCHOOL?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against ASCEND PRESCHOOL at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does ASCEND PRESCHOOL accept child care subsidy?

Yes. ASCEND PRESCHOOL holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.

Does this page show inspection results for ASCEND PRESCHOOL?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects ASCEND PRESCHOOL's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
