Sid MorganApr 23, 2026I’m a member of a different ymca and I came here to work out while I was visiting. It is a small gym, but that’s expected for a small town. I went on a Sunday morning and the gym was nearly empty, just a couple other members. They have some nice newer matrix brand equipment, along with some older, traditional squat racks and bench presses. There is a smaller weight room by the entrance along with a nice gymnasium.

Ansley BurnettApr 4, 2024It's terrible for anyone visiting town. I joined from Dec. 20, 2023 –Jan. 16, 2024 and was ultimately charged $113 for less than 30 days of use. I was charged $38.55 for December (which included a $25 "join fee," required after 30 days of inactivity even if you were previously a member), then $37.50 for all of January, and then $37.50 for all of February because I officially cancelled my plan on January 16 and they require 30-days notice. When I signed up, I specifically mentioned I was only in town for a month, yet no staff member communicated this with me or told me to immediately "cancel" to prevent paying for extra days. The lack of ethics and money-grabbing here is incredibly disappointing, especially after going to this YMCA all throughout my childhood. I do not recommend.
