  • My son began attending BB shortly before his third birthday and will be graduating to Kindergarten this fall. Our experience over the years has been fantastic. The directors have always been very accommodating to all our needs. We truly appreciate them and all the teachers. I have always felt confident that he was well cared for while at school.

  • I have two children who attend Bright Beginnings, and we have had a positive experience with both. The teachers are friendly and go above and beyond for our children. My son can be a handful sometimes, and they’ve always been very patient and good with him. The directors are easy to reach and willing to work with you. Someone once told me that my kids would get a great education at BB. It is definitely true! My two year old is very knowledgeable for his age and much of that is due to all of his learning at BB.

  • Our son has been going here since an infant and he/we love it! I only have great things to say about it and everyone has cared and treated my child as their own. They are always very accommodating and communicative with parents. They also offer part time enrollment (as little as 2 days) which was hard to find when we were looking for childcare.

  • Bright Beginnings has been a wonderful place to send our son. He started in the baby room where the teachers were incredibly attentive and communicative. It felt like I had a team of co-parents to help navigate being a first-time mom! He has since moved up a classroom where he does fun and educational activities every day. In a field that is increasingly being taken over by venture capitalists, Bright Beginnings remains independently and locally owned, which you can feel in the way they treat their families. We've had nothing but positive experiences here.

  • When my daughter first started at bright beginnings she was only 4 months old. At first, things seemed great and she started to adjust and settle in.. naturally some turnover (typical for a daycare) happened and we saw a shift. Often times, I’d get phone calls or frustrated teachers at pick up time complaining that she spit up or didn’t nap and it just felt very unsettling that a daycare teacher would get frustrated with a child for not napping.

  • When we moved to the area 4 years ago I toured a few daycares for my daughter and was a bit overwhelmed. As soon as I walked into Bright Beginnings I knew this would be our daycare. All the teachers were extremely nice and they offered everything I was looking for and were also willing to work with me on any requests I had. Since then my daughter has moved on but my son has been there since he was 2 months old and is now a little over 2 and we still absolutely love it. My son loves going and loves all of his teachers and friends he has made.

Pennsylvania rates BRIGHT BEGINNINGS CHILD CARE CENTER STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on May 14, 2019. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against BRIGHT BEGINNINGS CHILD CARE CENTER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against BRIGHT BEGINNINGS CHILD CARE CENTER at the time the record was published. Does BRIGHT BEGINNINGS CHILD CARE CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. BRIGHT BEGINNINGS CHILD CARE CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 17.

Does this page show inspection results for BRIGHT BEGINNINGS CHILD CARE CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects BRIGHT BEGINNINGS CHILD CARE CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
