  • Having visited the center multiple times, the building is only well-kept in the new classrooms which are in the previously built gymnasium/cafeteria. There are bullet holes in the windows and broken glass covered by plastic or duct tape. The “gym” is a small room that apparently had no AC for a period of time. I do not know how they passed DHS standards as some of the toys had electric wires poking out of them and when reported, it was put back on the shelves for the children to play with. There are cracks in the pavement and in the indoors tiling of the hallways and rooms. Peeling paint, exposed wires, screws coming out of walls and thumbtacks/staples on the floor is a common denominator in the lack of safety of this building intended for your children. Not to mention, the entire company was under investigation for a period of time. I agree with the other reviews in reference to the teachers and director.

  • I just wish they had a nap placed in for the toddlers at least teachers receive a peace of mind for 30mins/1 hour !!

  • My child made it less than a month at this center but thrived at his previous center. They were very rude, disrespectful, and did not warn of us an injury that occurred. Instead used the mobile app to state it happened.(does not give immediate updates). The director is almost determined to shame anyone, not only myself but another parent in front my own eyes. The director also thinks they are medically trained and can state for a "fact" that a kid has something they do not. We gave full explanation of our child's medical issues. Which were completely ignored. Communication is terrible when it comes to their so called call center. They make you feel like you dont understand when you were told an exact fact. How they are still a business is beyond me and my family. They dont treat parents well. There staff behind the scenes gives false information, and the director finds that amusing when presented with said emails. Which clearly are in writing. Not to mention they state a structured environment, but very little updating when it comes to the building. Steps are cracked, parking lot floods because they have no drainage. Shattered windows in the building (can be seen from lower lot) bullet holes in windows with tape over them. Im sure they will flag this do to the truth of the matter.

  • Had a tour today for noon, sat in the waiting room for half an hour. They kept switching who was doing the tour. Staff members were complaining about needing to do breaks. The care giver that took care of the infants did greet me at one point and said hi to my daughter which was very welcoming. The back door was wide open the whole time I was there. There was painters tape still lining the waiting room and around their camera for the waiting even though it seemed it had not been painted for awhile. Infant room was very well kept when viewing the room for a short moment. Only some spots of the day care seem to be well taken care of. It feels like it's a very large hazard with steep concrete steps near the back exit. What seemed to be fruit was stocked on carts that were sitting out on the ramp in plain view without concern for storing them correctly. Had a picture of a man on the billboard labeled back door pick up only which was very weird because it looked like it was taken from a security camera. I would be very upset of how off putting it be if my picture was displayed in a waiting room in such a manner. Felt like I wasted everyone's time because not only is the wait for infant room very long, there's no real organization of large plot points of this day care. No welcoming packet or clean cut information available for parents. Something about the place is unsettling.

  • I have nothing but tons of positive things to say about bright futures learning center. I have seen since such an improvement in my child's behavior and development since starting preschool this year. They are very organized, informative and responsive! There is a genuine care for your child's safety and success! I am surprised daily with all the great things my child has learned! I would highly recommend! Thank you to Mr.Ikike and the rest of the staff for all that they do! You are doing a great job!

  • My experience with Bright Futures started with our oldest daughter when she was 4 years old back in 2020 for the virtual class. They really prepared her for Kindergarten provided everything she needed to learn. Now as of 2022 our youngest daughter is attending at 3 years old. She gets to experience the same experience my oldest daughter had. They provide everything there is to learn. My oldest like to pop in during her breaks to say hello and sit in with the class. The teachers are amazing and how they make sure every student gets the attention they need to participate or just to voice themselves is amazing.

Questions parents ask about BRIGHT FUTURES LEARNING CENTERS INC

Is BRIGHT FUTURES LEARNING CENTERS INC a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. BRIGHT FUTURES LEARNING CENTERS INC holds Pennsylvania certificate 100142090-0005, listed as "SANCTIONED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Dauphin County. The current certificate runs to March 13, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is BRIGHT FUTURES LEARNING CENTERS INC's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania publishes no Keystone STARS tier for BRIGHT FUTURES LEARNING CENTERS INC. Keystone STARS is voluntary, so a provider with no tier has not taken part rather than been judged. Licensing and STARS are separate: a provider without a tier is still certified and still inspected.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against BRIGHT FUTURES LEARNING CENTERS INC?

The state's provider dataset records a negative sanction against BRIGHT FUTURES LEARNING CENTERS INC. That flag is all Pennsylvania publishes in this dataset: it does not say what the sanction was, when it happened, or how serious it was, and a sanction can range from a paperwork lapse to a serious finding. Look the provider up at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch and read the licensing record before drawing a conclusion from this line.

Does this page show inspection results for BRIGHT FUTURES LEARNING CENTERS INC?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects BRIGHT FUTURES LEARNING CENTERS INC's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
