  • They use to be a very good child care . However , lately they have been declining in their services. First they made me feel like my son was autistic due to speech delay. Which worried me so I tested him twice . And nothing besides the speech came up . Because he has a speech delay they kept my 4 year old in the 2 year old class which set him back more . My son was being malnourished due to his special diet . Which I’d discover myself due to his weight loss . When I asked the facility if he doesn’t like the food why not offer him an alternative meal (which is a state food requirement) the lady at the time said we only do pbj and he doesn’t like that either . Long story short they never told me my son was not eating. I had to dig for myself. And go to my son’s doctor to get a letter saying my son could pack a lunch . I allowed my son to stay in this daycare because he was comfortable with his peers. Then a few weeks ago, I picked my son up on a cold day in just a diaper (which he is potty trained ) and shirt because his teacher said he had an accident and no one could even reach out to me and ask me to bring my son an extra pair of pants mind you this facility has a app for communication in which they make you download when I reached out to the manager to explain She had no remorse. She didn’t care she didn’t apologize once she then added the owner into the conversation whom then told me it was OK for my son to come out in a diaper when he is potty trained, and didn’t even consider that it was her staff’s job to call or report it to me in the app that my son was in need of clothes. Altogether this place isn’t what it used to be. They have poor customer service and they mistreat special-needs kids. The owner told me if the service isn’t good why take my child there . And you know what she is right and that is why my child is now removed from the facility! Thanks for the advice from the owner told!

  • I gave a two because I appreciate the teacher who assisted my child. However this establishment decided that my child was autistic and we couldn't tell them other wise. They knew better because of the experience they had and years of service. Don't let them fool you my child after months of not being here is doing everything they said my child was delayed in and that's why he was "autistic". When explaining our personal life and how our child is at home we got looks and made feel like we don't know our own kid and needed to revaluate ourselves even after the child was seen by therapist we were told we are wrong. Safe to say my child isn't autistic and is flourishing at a different establishment... maybe the daycare was the problem?

  • They discrimate children that are speech delayed and try to treat the child as autistic even though the child was evaluated and there isn't concerns about this. A 3 year old who goes under the table, spin around, don't want to take a nap, and takes other kids toys is a child who deserves suspension. So if your child is a toddler and acts as a child this age will be written as a violent impertinent child. Sorry for the moms that have their children enrolled in this non sense facility. If your child is unable to express feelings be careful mama's.

  • Horrible Daycare. All they care about is receiving $$ not really about the kids. I highly do not recommend this daycare. My kids been sick since they started that daycare and my kids never gotten sick until they started going to busy bee. Do Better!

  • They couldn't even deal with a child who has separation anxiety. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against BUSY BEE DAY CARE LLC?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against BUSY BEE DAY CARE LLC at the time the record was published. Does BUSY BEE DAY CARE LLC accept child care subsidy?

Yes. BUSY BEE DAY CARE LLC holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 11.

Does this page show inspection results for BUSY BEE DAY CARE LLC?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects BUSY BEE DAY CARE LLC's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
