Where do I begin? We have two boys at Busy Bees. Our oldest started when he was a toddler (~18 months, and is about to graduate pre-K) and our youngest started at 6 months (and is now 2.5). We’ve had the privilege of having our kids in every room/group, so we know basically everyone. We’re OG’s now, lol. Busy Bees is our “village”—the old, “it takes a village to raise a child.” I never imagined how important this place would become to my life. It’s an extension of my children, their happiness, their safety, their care. I also never anticipated how significant Busy Bees would become as a factor for deciding where we want to live—equally weighted up there with job, family, friends, etc. This place is a true family owned business that does nothing but sincerely try to support all the kids and parents in whatever ways they need. With our first son, I remember feeling conflicted that other people were going to be consoling him, keeping him safe, making him happy, etc., because those were the things I was doing when I was primarily caring for him while I WFH and Mom was in the office. Now, I feel so happy knowing both of our boys are always being loved, supported, challenged, and managed in a truly healthy environment. Things happen, kids gets sick, but that’s life with young kids. Make peace with it and don’t be dramatic. Busy Bees is one of the things that has made Philly great for us. I can’t tell you how many inconveniences I hear from others about their childcare facilities, and I’m always like: we don’t have to deal with any of that—the nonsense random closures, passive aggressive staff, lazy caretaking, etc. Anyway, I can go on and on about how wonderful Busy Bees has been and the beautiful moments we and our children have experienced since being there, but I don’t have time to write a novel. If you want more perspective from a real parent who’s children are his world, hit me up on LinkedIn and I’ll happily answer any questions you have.
Adam JohsJun 11, 2026Our son has attended this daycare since he was 6 months old, and it has been an excellent experience. The staff is exceptionally attentive, and their proactive communication gives us total confidence that our child is safe and nurtured every day. We’ve also seen tremendous growth in his learning and socialization. If you want a secure, professional, and warm environment for your child, I highly recommend them.
Martin QuigleyMay 29, 2026We took both or kids to Busy Bees from 2023 to 2026 since they were 4 months old to almost 3 years old. We loved it, the kids loved it, we made lots of friends. Teachers are very lovely, caring, and they love their job. We don't speak English at home and the girls quickly learned to sing, talk, and count in English at Busy Bees. We're moving to a different city and we will miss Busy Bees a lot!!
Isabel ParunellaMay 19, 2026We love Busy Bees! Trusted them with childcare since day 1, and my oldest is about to graduate the PreK class.
Nadia HasanMay 19, 2026Sending your child to daycare is hard, but the staff at Busy Bees make it just a bit easier. They truly care about the children, and you can see it in so many ways. The front desk staff always greet the kids by name, teachers provide daily updates, and when my child moved to the next age group, his former teachers checked in and told us how much they missed him. I appreciate the video feed so I can check in throughout the day, stroller parking in the center, and the flexibility to pick up my child for an hour during my lunch break. The center is always clean and well stocked with toys and activities. It’s clear that staff members genuinely care about the children and enjoy their work. I very much appreciate the low staff turnover. My child has attended Busy Bees for nearly three years, and we’ve had such a positive experience throughout that time. He loves his teachers and talks about them often, and it’s clear the staff does a wonderful job. I’m continually amazed by how much my child has learned. Sometimes I’ll buy a new book and discover he already knows it by heart because they’ve read it in class! We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Busy Bees, and I highly recommend it.
Molly NocheckMay 18, 2026Truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Busy Bees. My son has been with them since he was just 12 weeks old, and Miss Stacey went above and beyond to help him settle in and adjust to daycare life. Now, our little guy is almost 2 years old, thriving in the toddler classroom with Miss Quinn, and learning Spanish from Miss Tina. He literally runs into school every day, excited to see his friends and join in the fun. Denise and Jordan have an amazing dedicated team of teachers who really make all the difference in the high quality of care that Busy Bees provides. It gives us such a peace of mind, knowing that our son is so loved and well cared for here.

Does BUSY BEES LEARNING CENTER accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. BUSY BEES LEARNING CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.
Does this page show inspection results for BUSY BEES LEARNING CENTER?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects BUSY BEES LEARNING CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
