  • I’ve had 5 kids come through here. One of the early headstart teachers is phenomenal- Miss Ana. Other than that find somewhere else. The staff is unpredictable and unprofessional. The staff humiliates certain students. This is not a good environment with children who have learning disabilities or behavioral issues. Get ready for more weeks off than on and unexpectedly at that. You may get fired from your own job because they don’t even tell you there’s no class until 15 minutes beforehand. I had went to register my twins and the woman registering us had her a medical emergency with her father and we lost our spot because she missed the follow up appointment. Absolutely insane how this place is run

  • This playground is great place for kids in the neighborhood to use after the daycare closes since the land is still owned by the county they cannot deny the use of this playground after hours

  • I have had such a wonderful experience with this program. Where to start? Well, the home based program was so fabulous. Ms. Erica, who did the home based program with us, and helped my daughter learn SO much. She also helped me figure out ways to interact with her in a way that helps her development - she brought up new ideas and ways to learn with her that were actually fun for both of us. My daughter then transitioned into the school program and has done exceptionally well there. Ms. Gena is wonderful, and I have the utmost trust in her as a teacher and caretaker. I am very pleased with the program overall. The program even sends home stuff every once in a while for the kids like new outfits, hygeine items, and much more plus they have been giving the parents gas gift cards which has been so nice. Thank you for all that you guys do! This seems like a great place to work and it's most definitely a great place to take your child from my own experience.

  • My daughter started preschool here this year it's been 2 months and she maybe been in the building two weeks sending 3-4 year old to online preschool I tell anyone I know and they laugh and me and tell me I can't be serious it's kind of a big joke as far as preschool

  • The teachers are wonderful and I love how they take care of the children! My daughter took two years of preschool and she lived it and she misses her teacher's. She is now in kindergarten but I won't forget the great experience we had here! The only thing I didn't like was that I was unable to bring her sibling to the holiday parties, but he will soon have his chance to do it with his friends and class members as his turn to attend preschool is just around the corner!! I can't wait!!

  • Had a great experience while in care.. Mostly wonderful teachers. Teachers became family to my daughter. However when you commit to a classroom make sure you're fully committed until you're out of the class and move up. One teacher and One director in specific turned so fast when they heard I was pulling my child. That's when it becomes a watch your back moment because they will dig and pry for anything to report you. Also they are not great with special needs! Lesson Learned Life Goes On..

The current certificate runs to June 29, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is BUTLER COUNTY CHILDRENS CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates BUTLER COUNTY CHILDRENS CENTER STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on September 22, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against BUTLER COUNTY CHILDRENS CENTER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against BUTLER COUNTY CHILDRENS CENTER at the time the record was published. Does BUTLER COUNTY CHILDRENS CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. BUTLER COUNTY CHILDRENS CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 3.

Does this page show inspection results for BUTLER COUNTY CHILDRENS CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects BUTLER COUNTY CHILDRENS CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
