With Caring Hands Play and Learn, your child will be prepared for grade school!!! I recently had a parent teacher conference for kindergarten and my child is doing so well. He has all the foundational skills he needs to excel in grade school. His teacher says he’s advanced in reading and math! They also love that he expresses his emotions so well. I knew a big part of that was Caring Hands Play and Learn! We appreciate you guys sooo much!! Thank you for all you have done!!
MionnaDec 2, 2025Your child will leave prepared! My son had the pleasure of attending Caring Hands Play and Learn for three years and it was such a great experience. During his years with Caring hands, he grew so much from a result of the curriculum, hands-on science experiments (growing butterflies, making slime and growing a potato plant were our child's favorite), focus on literacy, and so much more! Each day, he came home excited to tell me about what he and his friends did. They had a way of getting the children engaged and excited about learning! The school is safe, bright and welcoming. The staff are all attentive, caring, and excellent with the children. I cannot rave enough about the work that Ms. Tasha and the Caring Hands team put forth to ensure the children develop an early love of learning that will set them ahead. I can honestly say, my son left Caring Hands extremely prepared for kindergarten and often says "I did this already at Caring Hands". It was bittersweet transitioning into grade school, but we are very thankful that we found this gem!
Maurice BynumSep 23, 2024I am absolutely gutted to be writing this, but I definitely want to spread the word on the fantastic 3yrs I’ve spent here at Caring Hands Play and Learn… after the pandemic, the previous location my daughter was at went completely down hill and Caring Hands was recommended to me.. I knew instantly my daughter would thrive here. She entered at 2 and graduated at 5 and is headed to Kindergarten in the fall. I cried my eyes out with it being her last day because if I could keep my daughter here until 18 I absolutely would, but I know all things come to an end. I kid you not when I say I don’t have anything negative to say about my time at Caring Hands. As someone that has been a teacher and is a parent, I’ve seen and experienced enough to know what type of environment I want my daughter placed in and Mrs. Tasha Holland did not disappoint by any means. She and her staff have been extremely supportive, understanding, fun, and a forever part of my daughter’s village. The close and intimate spaces served to be very beneficial to my daughter and it felt like family. Mrs. Tasha and staff, the Porter family is eternally grateful for you and all that you’ve poured into my baby girl. I pray that whoever is reading this and considering Caring Hands is able to feel safe with the decision to enroll right away! Thank you thank you thank you 10000x over! Off to Kindergarten we go!
Gail PorterAug 16, 2024Best daycare ever! Mrs. Holland and her team took care of my child like one of their own. If I had questions, concerns or requests, they were sure to address them all timely. They have a fun curriculum which is sent out to the parents each week. Your child will learn so much if enrolled here. My son loved all of the projects and activities. He always asked to stay longer each day because he never wanted to miss the fun. You will receive updates all day in the form of videos and pictures of your child participating in activities. As a parent, it is difficult to leave your child with anyone, but my child felt safe here. This staff is patient and kind. They made my family and I feel welcomed each and every day. Caring Hands Play and Learn under Mrs. Holland's supervision is the only daycare I trust to nurture and care for children. They are the absolute best!
Jenell LongsApr 24, 2024We absolutely love Caring Hands Play and Learn. Our daughter started this daycare at 15months. She has been here for over a year now. Prior to daycare she had little interaction with other kids due to the pandemic. I was nervous on how she would adjust with new people but Mrs Tasha and her staff were so warm and welcoming that our daughter bonded with them in little to no time. The staff are caring and nurturing. The weekly curriculum is top notch and we received notice on what they will be learning and the activities for the week. My daughter has learned so much from them in the past year. It amazes us how she is a sponge to all the learning that goes on during the day. From morning movement time , to sensory boxes, to imaginative play and art and crafts, there’s soo much happening at the daycare. We get alerts and videos throughout the day and if there are any issues going on with your little one they do not hesitate to keep you abreast. We are glad that we made the decision to send our child here. Caring Hands Play and Learn is a safe place where children can play, grow and learn.
Sabrina RobinsonFeb 26, 2024Mrs. Tasha & Team are very loving and patient with their kids. Everyone is hands on and gives the extra time that sometimes my toddler needs. My child loves this place so much. Caring Hands provides parents peace of mind all day while your child is there.

- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
