They was trying to steal my son social security number…so a few years ago I enrolled my kids in this daycare… when I wanted to take my kids out the stuff started writing down my kids social security number because I told her I wanted my kids paperwork… THE WORST DAYCARE MY KIDS HAS EVER BEEN TOO….if I could I would give them no stars…I made a police report… be careful when you filling out that paperwork the stealing your kids social security numbers…
Kierra BrownMar 19, 2026I have been trying to call this daycare for the past two months and no one picks up the phone on top of that the mailbox is full. I. wish I could give a review on the actual center but I can’t even get an application for my child.
Chelsea MonetApr 13, 2023When my daughter passed and needed a daycare for my 3 yr old grandson Carmichael were there for me. It was a trying time and I was lucky to find a daycare with such a family environment with good family values. Raising a child takes a village, and I consider Carmichael part of my village. They stayed open a little late for me when necessary and always made my grandson feel comfortable and happy. This facility adorable. It's spotless, well maintained and the staff is loving, personable and professional. There preschool academic curriculum prepared my grandson for kindergarten and set him on a path to skip the 2nd grade. I kept him there for years with no intention of leaving, until the pandemic hit and turned all our lives upside down.
Loving Social DistanceJan 7, 2022Horrible staff and just disgusting daycare. My son is 1 years of age never been to daycare so of course it was a transition for him. He was part time 3 full days a week. This daycare was so horrible I am scared to send him to another. Ok so the first incident was when my son came home with a full diaper, I didn’t mention it because I’m like I know my son urinates a lot so I left it at that. Second incident I called to switch my sons hours from 8a-5p to 6:30a -3:30p and the staff member who answered was polite and reassured me that it wasn’t a problem and I could bring him that time on his next scheduled day. My husband gets a the center exactly 6:30a no one is there, the staff member comes at 6:50a and when she gets there she had no knowledge of my son ever coming. That day I went to pick my son up I spoke to the owner she assured me that him coming at 6:30a was no issue and apologized on their behalf. The very next day my husband takes my son and again no one is there. At 7:00a i called the director who was just unprofessional and rude. She said she assumed my son was only coming that one day for 6:30. I responded by telling her no I spoke with the owner about changing his hours and let her know it was permanent. This was my son’s fourth or Fifth day at the school. So she says well I am the director and you have to notify me when you are making drop off and pick up changes. I said am I accommodating you all or are you accommodating me. I spoke to two of the staff members there one being the owner, when I come or call I’m not waiting until I see the director to make changes I’m gonna tell whoever is present and it is their job to communicate with you. She said she had to call the owner to see what’s going on with the staff member that was scheduled. This lady calls me back keep in mind I am at work my husband is still waiting at the center. She says I don’t know if you want to take him home because the staff did a no call no show. I said so will I be reimbursed for this day because I pay out of pocket and this day has been paid she says she doesn’t know I have to speak with the owner. Then says for the future you have to just let me know and things will be much smother. I told her this was my son’s last day. We hung up and she called right back saying a staff member was down the block from the center. My husband was able to drop my son off but I will never recommended this center to anyone
India KithcartJan 6, 2020Just to say the least, this is the daycare where the administrator herself bully kids!!! Reply to the comment below My kids did not stay in Carmichael for years, 2017 to 2018 is one year while you opened your daycare in 2015, go back to your records. You sound interesting when you say I beg for my kids to stay in your daycare after I have already given you notice😂. You’re running a daycare, show good examples to the kids.
Veronica BewehNov 6, 2018My daughter just started...she is with the younger toddler group...and I truly love them there....they are warm and inviting...they greet you with a warm welcome everyday...and they addressed any concerns I had with my child with patience and certainty..and they are also equipped with a app that will give you updates thru out the day so there is no doubt that your child is learning and is loved..I would give them a million stars if I could. They are an important part of my Maddy's life. I couldn't ask for a better facility. There organized..clean...I could go on and on...check them out...you won't be disappointed 😉

Questions parents ask about CARMICHAEL LEARNING CENTER
Is CARMICHAEL LEARNING CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. CARMICHAEL LEARNING CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 103034159-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Delaware County. The current certificate runs to February 22, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is CARMICHAEL LEARNING CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates CARMICHAEL LEARNING CENTER STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on May 31, 2022. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against CARMICHAEL LEARNING CENTER?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against CARMICHAEL LEARNING CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does CARMICHAEL LEARNING CENTER accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. CARMICHAEL LEARNING CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 15.
Does this page show inspection results for CARMICHAEL LEARNING CENTER?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects CARMICHAEL LEARNING CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
