  • We have been going here for 6 years and love it!! They are like no other daycare, they are very small and we prefer that! The staff are like family instead of daycare workers. My kiddos look at them as their aunts. The amount of love and care that is shown to my babies daily is what seals the deal! I would highly recommend Caterpillar Clubhouse for anyone who is looking for family oriented setting!

  • Unprofessional and unacceptable. Our son was enrolled in this daycare 3 days a week for around 6 weeks, for a total of only 15 days and in that time they: cancelled on us last minute (usually we got a call in the evening the night before) 5 times, called us on a Tuesday morning after our son was already dropped off for the day to tell us he was completely out of formula-they forgot to mention it that morning and we needed to bring it to them right that minute, then abruptly told us after only 15 days of enrollment that our son could no longer attend there. They kept blaming our son's fussiness as the reason they were cancelling on us, even though they admitted it was because of staffing issues. They could not accommodate a baby and blamed us for it. Our son was fussy, although it was because he was exhausted as they were too busy to get him down for naps. He would come home so tired after a day there that he would pass right out. We told our pediatrician at a check up that our son was being terminated from his daycare and he was shocked and said "what for??" We told him "apparently fussiness" and he said "isn't that their job, to take care of babies??" with genuine confusion, just like everyone else we talked to. We were going to try to forget this awful thing even happened and moved on until the day we told them we just needed two more weeks to get our son into another daycare. Their words were "I think it would be best for everyone if your son didn't come back." That's when it really hit us how horrible they were- best for us?? They had severely jeopardized both mine and my husband's jobs! My husband works in surrounding areas doing various jobs for multiple clients throughout the day, and their last minute cancellations and sudden termination had him desperately trying to figure out how he was going to make it. He also had to make last minute call offs to his other job, ALL of which went unpaid. And I had to use what little PTO I had left after maternity leave. We have spoken to many people and daycares, and we were told what happened to us is not a thing, this doesn't and shouldn't happen.

Questions parents ask about CATERPILLAR CLUBHOUSE

Is CATERPILLAR CLUBHOUSE a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. CATERPILLAR CLUBHOUSE holds Pennsylvania certificate 103015500-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Blair County. The current certificate runs to January 28, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is CATERPILLAR CLUBHOUSE's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates CATERPILLAR CLUBHOUSE STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on February 11, 2021. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against CATERPILLAR CLUBHOUSE?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against CATERPILLAR CLUBHOUSE at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does CATERPILLAR CLUBHOUSE accept child care subsidy?

Yes. CATERPILLAR CLUBHOUSE holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 6.

Does this page show inspection results for CATERPILLAR CLUBHOUSE?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects CATERPILLAR CLUBHOUSE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
