The teachers here all know the kids so well and support them in learning, playing, and creativity. There are wonderful activities and there is great communication on the app to be able to get updated on what the children are doing each day
Jen KreszJul 2, 2026We can’t say enough wonderful things about CITS! Our children have been there since infants. The Directors and teachers are incredibly caring, patient, and loving and we always know our kids are safe, happy, and learning. The daily updates and photos on the app are such a bright spot during the workday. We also love how much CITS invests in the kids- from fun holiday & birthday celebrations to enrichment programs like music, Spanish, sports, and science. Our kids are always excited to go to school! The hours are perfect for working parents and tuition is reasonable compared to other centers in the area. We are so lucky to be part of the CITS family and recommend CITS without hesitation to any family looking for a daycare!
Lacey ColemanJul 2, 2026We enrolled our daughter at the tender age of four months old and she has had an incredible experience. The staff go above and beyond to make the experience engaging and enjoyable and they do alot of activities and events. I have been in the Education field for over 25 years and this is a very well run organization top to bottom. I highly recommend Children in the Son,! TJ Sokso
Walnut Street Theatre Education OfficeJul 2, 2026Our daughter started going to Children in the Son only a few months ago but we are VERY happy so far! Everyone is caring and friendly and I know my daughter is in great hands. I love the updates we get through the mobile app too throughout the day. We plan to keep our daughter there up until she starts school!
Sara McCannJul 2, 2026Our family has had such a wonderful experience here. All four of our boys have attended this preschool. The teachers genuinely care about each child, create a warm and nurturing environment, and foster a love of learning. We are so grateful for the positive impact this school has had on our family and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a preschool!
BridgetteJul 2, 2026Best childcare around! I knew my children were in good hands with the staff and I never had to worry. The owners are passionate about what they built and are physically present and involved in the daily operations. The teachers are truly exceptional!

Questions parents ask about CHILDREN IN THE SON EARLY LEARNING CENTER
Is CHILDREN IN THE SON EARLY LEARNING CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. CHILDREN IN THE SON EARLY LEARNING CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 102939427-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Delaware County. The current certificate runs to October 2, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is CHILDREN IN THE SON EARLY LEARNING CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates CHILDREN IN THE SON EARLY LEARNING CENTER STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on February 12, 2023. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against CHILDREN IN THE SON EARLY LEARNING CENTER?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against CHILDREN IN THE SON EARLY LEARNING CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does CHILDREN IN THE SON EARLY LEARNING CENTER accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. CHILDREN IN THE SON EARLY LEARNING CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 15.
Does this page show inspection results for CHILDREN IN THE SON EARLY LEARNING CENTER?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects CHILDREN IN THE SON EARLY LEARNING CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
