  • My children have been going to COA for almost 6 months now. The teachers there are absolutely amazing. Miss Zakia has been an absolute life saver. My son is 2 years old and had never been in a center before therefore making the transition so hard. however miss Zakia handled it like it was never a problem within days my son was more willing to allow me to leave to eventually letting me leaving without any type of crying/ guilt. on top of that before starting my son was nonverbal (limited to about 5 words) within a month of being there miss Zakia had him talking and actively trying to say new words. i am beyond happy with the progress in such little time. i also have a baby in the infant room. Miss Debbie has also made the transition of daycare so easy for me. although my daughter cant talk its obvious she gets excited and is happy when seeing Miss Debbie. the doctors have also noted how amaing she is doing with meeting her milestones right on target and i cant thank anyone else but miss debbie for helping me with that. this team of teachers are absolutely amazing i couldnt be anymore happier with my choice of daycare selection.

  • My children have been going to Children of America in New Britain pa for a little over 2 years now and I have to say I’m so impressed with how my children have progressed these past 2 years. I’m so happy I made the change to this school. My daughters loves going to school to learn and play with their friends. They love walking in and the first thing they do is say good morning to Ms Paula, or Ms Christina W it’s like their routine when coming to school. I want to say Ms Heather, Ms Debbie F, and Ms Christina M thank you for your amazing work and Everything you do for your students. I can see that they truly care for their students. This school has been a game changer for my family we love Children of America in New Britain.

  • My family has been apart of COA New Britain for several years now and they have become our family. It started with my son and daughter both going here and now it is just my daughter. My son really enjoyed his time there. The staff were all really great and helpful to him. Staff still love to see him and acknowledge him when he comes with me to pick up his sister from time to time. My daughter loves it here. She has made some friends and has really liked helping all her teachers. We have had some really great ones including Ms. Elyse, Mrs. Koch, Ms. Christina, Ms. Chyna, Mrs. Debbie to name a few. The Director, Mrs. Christina and assistant director, Mrs. Paula are both so kind, helpful and dedicated to the children and families. I will be sad when my daughter becomes too old to attend because this place has been so great to our family. I can not say enough wonderful things about this place. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to help care for their kiddos!

  • We love COA! Mrs. Christina is my son's kindergarten teacher and she's amazing. Always let's me know a run down of what challenges we faced that day, what they're learning, any fun activities they did, etc. Ms. Paula's smile is also such a pleasure to see in the morning before we all start our days. Thank you to all COA staff for making the atmosphere feel like the kiddos are family!

  • Ms. Zohra and Miss Zakia's class in COA New Britain is fantastic. The greatest concept they implemented to the classroom perhaps is that " they teach the toddlers to believe in themselves, so that kids can have self-confidence to not afraid to try anything big in the future." Such an idea will benefit kids forever. In addition, my 2-year old son gets a big welcome hug full of love everyday when he enters the classroom. The warm, welcoming, and fun environment created by the teachers has made my son love his teachers and little friends so much. Furthermore, lots of credits to the school crews for many well-organized kids/family events which not only enrich the activities for the kids but also make us parents engaged. Having my son in COA New Britain is one of the best decisions made by my family.

  • Picking childcare was not a task I took lightly. I did a lot of research and toured several centers. I wanted to find a daycare that would take care of my daughter in a loving environment. Children Of America in New Britain had great reviews and was recommended to me by a few people. It was further from our house, but I figured it was worth the visit. I got to meet the Director Carly and tour the place, and I immediately knew that was the daycare for us. Carly was so sweet to my daughter from day 1. She was knowledgeable, helpful, hands on and patient with my millions of questions. She even helped change my daughter (before we started there) and I could tell that she genuinely loved children. Fast forward to a few months later, and we are still so happy and lucky we found COA. The curriculum is very impressive. It engages the kids but also allows them to have fun. They get well balanced meals (that my daughter LOVES) and always have fun activities planned. I get to be a part of the day as the teachers send photos throughout the week of them eating, learning or playing. My daughter looks forward to daycare every morning and she loves all of her teachers, Ms Dawn, Ms Jill, Ms Ange and Ms Heather. Ms Carly is fantastic to work with, always helpful and very engaged with all of the kiddos. We love this place and highly recommend it!

What is CHILDREN OF AMERICA NEW BRITAIN's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates CHILDREN OF AMERICA NEW BRITAIN STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on October 27, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against CHILDREN OF AMERICA NEW BRITAIN?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against CHILDREN OF AMERICA NEW BRITAIN at the time the record was published. Does CHILDREN OF AMERICA NEW BRITAIN accept child care subsidy?

Yes. CHILDREN OF AMERICA NEW BRITAIN holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 16.

Does this page show inspection results for CHILDREN OF AMERICA NEW BRITAIN?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects CHILDREN OF AMERICA NEW BRITAIN's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
