Moved my now 5yo here after a rather traumatizing environment at another daycare in the area and I have not been disappointed yet! The director Ryan and his amazing assistant director Brittney along with the rest of the staff have been EXCELLENT! They've gotten my son to try and LIKE vegetables and foods he was avoiding at home by their "self-serve family style" of breakfast and lunch, that are INCLUDED in pricing! He's gained back much self-confidence after being downtrodden and emotionally damaged. My son is so happy when I pick him up now and even more so when I drop him off in the mornings. No longer is he dreading school or feeling bad about himself. The staff makes sure to encourage and build up the kids instead of breaking them down. They build strong foundational steps that will be long lasting and carry the kids into elementary school and onward.
Jaru Harris-KurtzMar 30, 2026Our son recently transferred to COA- Trapp. It is the beginning of his second week & he’s had more great days at COA than he did at his previous ( temporary) facility in 4 months. This past November we had to transition our 2 year old from a wonderful childcare facility that he attended since infancy & the past four months were a complete nightmare. We searched for a new facility for weeks & when we went on the tour at COA he bonded with the assistant director Ms. Brittany instantly he even had a mini meltdown during the tour & she knew exactly what to do! He loves his teachers & friends in the two’s room & hardly ever wants to go home when we arrive for afternoon pick up. The previous facility he was waiting at the door daily with his backpack when I arrived & always seemed miserable. I look forward to all the activities & learning our son has a head of him at COA.
Shana “Shanae” MyersMar 17, 2026Our son has absolutely thrived here. The difference from his last center is night and day. Everyone we’ve interacted with is genuinely great with kids, and Miss Holly deserves a special shout-out—she’s incredible with him and with all the kids. He’s excited to learn now, looks forward to going every morning, and sometimes he doesn’t even want to go home. We’re really glad we made the switch.
Chris GarofoloNov 20, 2025Sadly after giving this centre enough chances , I have decided to post this review. Very unprofessional management - Brittany and Ryan give positive updates to families when in reality their only job is cover up their teachers’ unprofessional attitude and lack of training and accountability. Their toddler teachers have a total disregard for what you have to say. Especially if you point out their mistakes and they assure you that It won’t happen next time- that means it will happen several times more!! And they know exactly who has their back! The management of course. Families pls make sure to watch their Live feed and observe how your children are treated. We always made sure we told them what we saw in the feed vs what they tell you. Unless it’s pointed out to them that you witnessed it first hand in the live feed, the management will not accept their fault or confront the teacher or anything. Now , we were expecting a call from my son’s teacher about the so called Development plan which was hardly 10min slot, which no one even cared to call us. So why take the day off to send positive announcements that are totally false to show their teachers are doing a great job. I am still waiting without any response to email. Totally unprofessional. My child deserves better!
Subhradip BanerjeeOct 13, 2025My son and daughter both have been here at COA Trappe from several months and I am immensely grateful for the dedication and passion that the teachers and management have that reflects in the classroom as well. Their teaching style is clear, engaging, and thought-provoking, making things accessible and interesting. The way Miss Sangeeta welcomes and care every child; like her own, understanding them when they feel uncomfortable and ensuring that they feel comfortable and settled along with creating healthy and positive engaging environment . Miss Lily receives my son early in the morning and the gesture to receive him is so positive that my son and I both love which makes him so comfortable in the class. Miss SRI who has been with him where she prepares a good lesson plan, the engagement with the kids and the positive attitude towards all the kids that I have encountered very frequently which is commendable whereas Mr. Joe who has been creating a very lively, funny and positively engaging environment with the kids in the class. Miss Brooklynn and Miss Becky who have been with my daughter and the way they care and the love they give her can be sensed and felt by us, they are amazing. None of the organization can be so perfect but the way they deal with the issues and the turnaround time to resolve them makes the place better so whenever I encountered any issues, I reached to Mr. Ryan and Miss Britney, and they were able to resolve all of them with unexpected turnaround time. I highly recommend COA Trappe!

- Pennsylvania rates CHILDREN OF AMERICA TRAPPE LLC STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on May 20, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against CHILDREN OF AMERICA TRAPPE LLC?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against CHILDREN OF AMERICA TRAPPE LLC at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does CHILDREN OF AMERICA TRAPPE LLC accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. CHILDREN OF AMERICA TRAPPE LLC holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 17.
Does this page show inspection results for CHILDREN OF AMERICA TRAPPE LLC?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects CHILDREN OF AMERICA TRAPPE LLC's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
