  • My grandson attended here for one school year. With a few exceptions the staff seem disinterested and unwilling to accommodate children with special needs which is ironic considering that is the premise of the program. The director is rude and inconsiderate and lacks professionalism. I do not recommend this school and encourage parents to check out the many other schools in the area. You can see the difference. As far as cost you really do get what you pay for. Don’t compromise your child’s well being and happiness.

  • My son has been here on and off for a couple of years and the staff is great. A handful of teachers have been there for 5+ years, are communicative with me and my son seems to learn a lot and enjoy his teachers as well

  • This place is a joke. I DON'T recommend sending your child there with special needs. They do not accommodate special needs. They want you to provide the services and when you do it never good enough for Andrea. She is disrespectful to parents and children. Shouldn't be in that position as far as I am concerned. Screaming at a parent in front of others and the child, saying he's not welcome there, he's to much to handle to a 4 year old special needs child at that!!!! They sold me lies!!! I was transparent and honest with you up front. You said you had educated staffing and was the best place for him. Did more damage!!!! Hopefully this Honest review helps. 1 mom to another 🙏😢

  • 1 star because I had reached out multiple times to Andrea inquiring about placement for my son. She responded the first time asking me to answer a few questions, which I responded SAME DAY..I inquired two weeks later and she did not respond, I followed up AGAIN and I was met with crickets.

  • I've had two kids go to the preschool program and they love it so much!! Everyone is so attentive to the children. Can't say enough good things!

  • Highly recommend this center. My son has been attending for about a month now and the staff are wonderful, he comes home learning something new everyday! I couldn’t be happier with my choice to transition him to this center as he struggles with behaviors and CDP staff are educated to deal with these things!

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against CHILDRENS DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM INC?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against CHILDRENS DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM INC at the time the record was published. Does CHILDRENS DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM INC accept child care subsidy?

Yes. CHILDRENS DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM INC holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 16.

Does this page show inspection results for CHILDRENS DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM INC?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects CHILDRENS DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM INC's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
