  • We’ve been using Children’s Learning Ladder for almost 3 years and our son has made some of his best friends here! The teachers are amazing and are truly vested in the success for the children. We recently started sending our second child now that she is old enough and they’ve gone above and beyond to make her transition as smooth as possible during this time.

  • If you’re looking for a hidden gem of a daycare in murrysville- look no further!! I can’t say enough great things about the team! Having my son at CLL the last 6 months has been amazing!! The director and all teachers really treat him like one of their own, while teaching him so many skills!!! He looks forward to “going to school with his friends” and to see his favorite teacher, Ms. Laila!

  • Our son loves CLL. It’s a small, warm place and the teachers seem to genuinely care about the kids. Our son also had two therapists who would drop in to do sessions with him, and both therapists would report back about how great the teachers are with the kids.

  • If I could give this daycare/preschool a zero I would!!! My child was at the center for a short time and he just got kicked out of there due to violence in a 3 year old who does not have any kind of violent tendencies! Multiple reports every single week of him getting hurt, gushing blood from his nose, stories not adding up! My wife and I personally witnessed a teacher pushing our son to the ground on the playground out back of the center, and she did it right in front of the assistant director! And they did NOTHING about it!!! I am seeking legal advice as we speak for allegations of child abuse and defamation of character for my 3 year old! This place needs shut down!!! They are very racist considering my son was the only biracial child in that daycare center that had multiple reports and now they just kicked him out!!!!

  • I cannot say enough positive things about this establishment nor can I describe how much of a significant impact this daycare has had on my daughter and her learning. The staff is genuinely so caring and kind that I feel a sense of calmness knowing I can trust and rely on such talented and trusting individuals. We definitely made the correct choice sending our daughter here and have no regrets. She is happy, growing, smiling and excelling. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking into childcare!

Is CHILDRENS LEARNING LADDER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. CHILDRENS LEARNING LADDER holds Pennsylvania certificate 100161775-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Westmoreland County. The current certificate runs to August 1, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is CHILDRENS LEARNING LADDER's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates CHILDRENS LEARNING LADDER STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on July 31, 2019. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against CHILDRENS LEARNING LADDER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against CHILDRENS LEARNING LADDER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does CHILDRENS LEARNING LADDER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. CHILDRENS LEARNING LADDER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 4.

Does this page show inspection results for CHILDRENS LEARNING LADDER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects CHILDRENS LEARNING LADDER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
