  • While we are not parents and don't have kids at Clover, as a community member for several decades now, Clover came in to what was a nuisance space and made it beautiful & wholesome! We can attest to the fact that the folks who work there take great care of their resident bunny and turtle! It's our absolute pleasure to do business with Clover, and we are certain, given the kindness and demeanor of the employees who come in and shop with us, that they are equally as lovely with the children in their care. Thanks for being in the community!

  • Our daughter spent her preschool and Kindergarten years at Clover, and let me tell you, the worst thing about this school is that your kid WILL NOT WANT TO LEAVE. My kid would beg me at pickup to let her stay "just a little bit longer." We ended up adding aftercare because she loved spending any amount of time she could with her friends and teachers. Speaking for many alumni families of this school, what repeatedly gets brought up is the sense of community that grows here. The teachers and other families really embrace yours. Everyone on staff are open, knowledgeable, and patient, not just with the kids, but also parents who might be a little handholding at times (me, definitely me). We chose to continue enrollment through Kindergarten as a way to increase our daughter's confidence in her abilities, and she took pride in being one of the "big kids" who assisted the little ones from comforting to reading to them. Going into public school, many have commented on her empathy, creativity, resilience, and helpfulness - all traits Clover nurtured in her years there. Considering how hard it was to pry my daughter out on a daily basis, graduation and moving on has been the hardest - she longingly looks into the window or garden whenever we pass by, always to enthusiastic waves. I love how the staff continues to ask after us, even sending a birthday message months after having left. It really feels like family.

  • Our son joined Clover Montessori in the winter of 2021 and stayed through the spring semester in 2023. Although he struggled with the transition to a new environment as a 3-year-old, head teachers Eileen and Jake did a wonderful job helping him get comfortable with the class and environment. Since then, he’s thrived, with newfound interests in art and writing and a surprising ability to negotiate challenging social situations with friends so that everyone can play together. The communication from the Clover teachers is excellent, and Eileen and Jake have done a great job helping us work through the behavioral needs and transitions that kids go through. Finally, Clover has built a wonderful community of supportive parents, many of whom have become close friends of ours. We are excited to return in a few years when our twins are old enough!

  • Our daughter is neurodiverse and as a result was asked to leave another school that failed to support her. She's a handful but means well and just needs extra help and scaffolding around activities to stay on task. Clover was immediately accepting, never flinched at any of her needs and gave our family the kind of support we were afraid we'd never find in a local school. These people changed our lives. Thank you!

  • We feel really lucky to have found Clover! It's a hidden gem. We love all of the teachers and have had no complaints since day 1. We were there for two years and if we didn't move away we'd stay at Clover as long as we could!

  • We had a fantastic experience at Clover Montessori with our daughter, and I give it the highest of recommendations without reserve. The teachers are absolutely wonderful, the space is warm and welcoming, and the community is super strong. The first time my daughter visited the school, she declared "this is the coolest room I've ever seen". After her first week at school, I asked her what she liked so much and she said "It's the people there. They just want to fill your bucket." Go check it out - you won't be disappointed!

Questions parents ask about CLOVER MONTESSORI SCHOOL

Is CLOVER MONTESSORI SCHOOL a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. CLOVER MONTESSORI SCHOOL holds Pennsylvania certificate 103944172-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to June 7, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is CLOVER MONTESSORI SCHOOL's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates CLOVER MONTESSORI SCHOOL STAR 4 - ACC, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on September 23, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against CLOVER MONTESSORI SCHOOL?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against CLOVER MONTESSORI SCHOOL at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does CLOVER MONTESSORI SCHOOL accept child care subsidy?

Yes. CLOVER MONTESSORI SCHOOL holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.

Does this page show inspection results for CLOVER MONTESSORI SCHOOL?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects CLOVER MONTESSORI SCHOOL's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
