  • I liked the care than my son had in this facility. Katherine, the owner was so supportive and helpful! Also the teacher staff was great! My son was really happy!

  • I am incredibly fortunate to have my youngest son at the Comfort Zone daycare. Over the past two years, it's been amazing to watch him learn and grow. The dedicated and nurturing teachers, implementing their days with fun and educational classroom activities, have truly made a positive impact on my family. I couldn't imagine my son going anywhere else! Not only are they helping me raise my youngest, there are several tenured teachers that have raised my older children as well over the last 22 years. I have the upmost respect and trust with the Comfort Zone daycare to the fullest. The owner, Kathy, has been such a pleasure. Kathy, provides genuine love for children and has created a warm, welcoming, safe and clean environment. She emphasizes on the quality of curriculum and activities as well as provides her staff with a positive environment that together they provided high quality care. She has made my mornings easier as she works with programs that she helps us enroll our children for nutritional meals and snacks while they are in daycare. Such a plus! With their attentiveness, they ensure care not only in age appropriate groups but individuals needs with the children. There has always been positive communication and prompt responsiveness with her, the director, Dee and the entire staff. Thank you Mama Bears!

  • My children have always been well looked after, my premature baby started coming at just 4 months old, and today he is two years old and well developed. They worry about our children, anything that happens they tell us, anyway. I feel safe with my children there, I can see the professionalism, love and care for our children. Nothing to complain about, just to be grateful.

  • Finding this daycare has been a blessing for my family. We have been with the daycare for 4-5 years & they have watched my youngest children since they were 6 weeks old. The teachers really care for the children & are great with communication. They provide transportation to & from the local schools, & do homework assignments with my 3rd grader daily. I would highly recommend this daycare for anyone's children.

  • My grandson Cincere has gone there since he was a couple months old and he is now 10 1/2 years old. Everybody is very nice there, they treat your children as though they are their own children. Very clean, they communicate with you about everything going on. They have a lot of fun activities daily, hours are excellent 6am-6:30pm Mon-Fri I think they have Saturday hours also. Kathy is a amazing, she is the owner of Comfort Zone, she is always willing to answer any questions you have. Half of the time my grandson does not want to come home from there because he has so much fun. During school hours they provide before and after care which is so helpful, also they assist them with their homework which is a huge relief to working parents, and they provide discounted meals to them, some days they will have water ice for them. This definitely is a top notch daycare whom I would definitely recommend 5 stars all the way *****!!!!

Questions parents ask about Comfort Zone

Is Comfort Zone a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. Comfort Zone holds Pennsylvania certificate 101816656-0002, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to February 13, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is Comfort Zone's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates Comfort Zone STAR 3, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on November 18, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against Comfort Zone?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against Comfort Zone at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does Comfort Zone accept child care subsidy?

Yes. Comfort Zone holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.

Does this page show inspection results for Comfort Zone?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects Comfort Zone's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
