  • The move to daycare was one of the hardest parenting decisions I’ve had to make. My daughter started here at about 15 months old after being cared for by a wonderful private nanny, whom she absolutely adored. We made the switch for financial reasons and because we wanted her to have more opportunities to socialize, but I was nervous. The first three weeks were tough. She cried at every drop-off. The staff were patient, reassuring, and understanding. They never dismissed my concerns and consistently reminded me that this adjustment was normal. Then one day, the tears stopped. Now, three months later, she gets excited when we arrive each morning, happily goes to her teacher, and blows me goodbye kisses without hesitation. Seeing that transformation has been a relief. We toured several daycares before choosing Dana’s. Some were more structured, academic, and polished, but they felt a bit institutional. This daycare stood out because it feels like a home. It’s relaxed, warm, and welcoming. It can seem a little chaotic at times, but what has always impressed me is how calm, patient, and capable the staff remain. They clearly know children and genuinely care for them with warmth and affection. The environment isn’t perfectly orderly, but it is clean—which is very important to me. I appreciate that everyone removes their shoes when entering, which reflects both the homey atmosphere and the emphasis on cleanliness. Like any daycare, my daughter has picked up a few illnesses, but I’ve always felt the staff communicate well and do their best to minimize the spread of germs. At the end of the day, the most important thing is that my daughter is happy, comfortable, and thriving here. She feels safe, she’s excited to go each morning, and I feel confident she’s being cared for by people who truly have her best interests at heart. I couldn’t ask for much more than that.

  • As a parent, I was extremely anxious about finding the right daycare for my son. We had previously enrolled him in another daycare, and even after three months, he struggled to adjust and feel comfortable. It was a very stressful experience for us as a family. However, everything changed when we found Dana’s daycare. Within just one week, my son began to feel at ease, which was such a relief. The environment here is incredibly warm, loving, and nurturing, exactly what young children need to feel safe and thrive. A special thank you to Ms. JoJo, who is truly an amazing teacher. She is caring, patient, and dedicated, and it shows in how happy and engaged my son is every day. Not only is he comfortable, but he is also learning so much while genuinely enjoying his time. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a place where their child will be cared for, supported, and encouraged to grow.

  • I was extremely anxious about my child starting daycare, but after her very first day at Dana’s, all of my anxiety vanished. The teachers and Dana herself deeply care about each and every child. It is such an incredibly positive, clean, and loving environment, and the teachers are extremely communicative and thoughtful. We receive photo updates of our daughter throughout the day, and the photos show she is both happy and developing due to the activities and care they provide for her. I have nothing but great things to say about Dana’s; I have incredible peace of mind knowing my daughter will be loved and taken care of here for years to come.

My child looks forward to going each day, and I’ve noticed positive changes in confidence, behavior, and learning. I highly recommend Dana’s Family Childcare to anyone looking for a good childcare center in the area.

  • We absolutely LOVE Ms. Dana’s daycare. Our kids are so loved each and every day. We have moved all over the country and being here, we have seen such a noticeable improvement in their knowledge and behavior. Most importantly, they love going there every day and have made the best friends! They are the gold standard for childcare in the Lehigh Valley

  • I had my daughter in August and I was skeptical of leaving my baby with anyone other than me or my husband. After our first day at Dana’s it was clear that Dana and the other teachers treated every child as if they were their own. They post pictures (with permission from the parent) each day to keep the parents updated on what their child did that day. Most importantly they keep great communication with the parents as well. We couldn’t be more thankful for the piece of mind that Dana and the other teachers give us knowing our daughter is being given the best care when she isn’t with us.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against DANAS FAMILY CHILDCARE LLC?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against DANAS FAMILY CHILDCARE LLC at the time the record was published. Does DANAS FAMILY CHILDCARE LLC accept child care subsidy?

Yes. DANAS FAMILY CHILDCARE LLC holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 14.

Does this page show inspection results for DANAS FAMILY CHILDCARE LLC?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects DANAS FAMILY CHILDCARE LLC's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
