  • My experience at Darlene’s Wee Care 4 Kids has been nothing but positive. From Ms. Darlene and Ms. Danita to all of the staff there. Everyone is great, kind, considerate and compassionate. I feel nothing but comfort each day I drop my kids off because I know they will receive the best of care and they will have quite a unique and fun learning experience. They will meet your children where they are and bring them along for a fun filled ride. You will be amazed at what your children will come home to tell you that they learned in school. I have 2 girls age 3 that attend Darlene’s and they love it, they are back and better than ever Get to Darlene’s Wee Care 4 Kids and check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

  • This center has been a really positive experience for families. The leadership team is professional, responsive, and clearly committed to maintaining a high standard of care. You can see the difference in how smoothly things run day to day. The staff are attentive, patient, and genuinely engaged with the children. There’s a good balance of structure and fun, with plenty of activities that support learning, creativity, and social development. What stands out most is how accommodating the center is. They make an effort to work with families, communicate effectively, and handle challenges in a thoughtful and respectful way. This is a well-managed program that provides quality care in a safe, supportive environment. I would absolutely recommend it to other families.

  • Can’t say enough good things! Such an amazing daycare with owners who truly care about their kiddos. And Danita is just fabulous! She’s so engaging with all the kids. She helps them learn new things in a way that really resonates, no matter what their age. Not to mention she’s FUN!! My daughter says she’s “so cool” 😎

  • Good day everyone. As a guardian for a child who attends Darlene's Wee Care 4 kids, I want to thank them for how they have done their very best in recent weeks with placement of children after enduring a fire in the building, not their space. Transitions are never easy, and when you have to adjust, it's not comfortable. Darlene's in a short period of time, and without local support, both peer and local government, did it's very best to communicate with me as to how they would respond to ensuring care for their kids Even prior to this incident, I have always felt welcome, and even though I am not the parent, the communication for understanding their protocols were clear. Thanks for protecting the young person, I am responsible for. Thank you for your transparency in resolving issues and making good decisions on behalf of the children and parents. In life, you cannot please everyone, but in my opinion, they have held themselves accountable for rights and no so right situations stemming from the fire, many other daycares will have you, " figure it out", but the zoom meetings, text messages, and personal calls to support us as we navigate back to our "own" space is greatly appreciated. To everyone involved, especially the drivers who made sacrifices with their personal vehicles, to the staff that kept our kids together, so they didn't lose friends or their "identities" as one of Darlene's Wee Care 4 Kids. Change is hard, but your professionalism, dedication and resourcefulness at this difficult time shows why parents trust your services.

  • I have been with Darlenes for 21 years. It was the first and only daycare I put my kids. At the time she was located on Marshall rd and I was pregnant with my 2nd child and my then 3yr old never stayed with anyone other family, so I was very nervous about leaving him and they were excellent about easing my nerves and fears. No matter how many times a day that first week I called they were great letting me know how he was doing. Then after I had my daughter I had to return to work almost immediately. Darlene was nice enough to take my daughter at just 4weeks old. And then my other son began going there as well after I had him. All 3 of my kids went to Darlenes until they aged out at 12. My daughter and my youngest son had behavioral problems and my son has autism and they were great with them. My daughter would have her therapist go to the daycare and work with her. All teachers were great with working with them . And 21 years later I'm back with my youngest and nothing has changed same great staff, some new faces but just as excellent as before. I would not send my kids anywhere else. Ms Darlene truly cares about all of the kids that go to the center and she knows them all by name. This is a top notch daycare center where your not just a number or dollar to them. In the beginning of 2026 the building that the center is located in on market Street 1 of the apartments on the 4th floor which is the floor directly above the center caught fire and it was a bad fire. The sprinkler systems went on and everything and the center suffered a significant amount of water damage from the sprinklers and from the fire department trying to put the fire out. Residents and other businesses were all displaced and still are. Luckily no one was hurt. And now Ms Darlene is rebuilding and even in the hardest time of her life her first concern were her kids at the center where will they go and how can she make things easy for everyone involved. That first week Ms Darlene put together trips for the pre schoolers and parents to go on free of charge. And they weren't little trips she took them to The aquarium in Baltimore, Lego land all free of charge. Then once she secured a temporary location she supplied a shuttle service so the parents wouldn't be inconvenienced . As well as still supplying school transportation too. She was holding zoom meetings with all the parents to keep everyone up to date on what was going on. She went above and beyond to keep the center together not only for the kids but also for the teachers. All while dealing with the township and the crap that they tried to pull with permits and different things. No matter what happen her main concern have always been her kids at the center. And even now some people are with another center and others are with a different center but Ms Darlene has been working around the clock to work and accommodate everyone the best way she can. And she has been doing a excellent job. Because even when everything she worked so hard for went up in smoke she still put the kids first. Last but not least to the few of the bold face liars posting lies and negative reviews, 1 God don't like ugly 2 please please please go get a life

  • I have seen this daycare go above and beyond for the staff and children after the fire in the building where everything was lost. When this occur Ms. Darlene made arrangements for her staff to still work and her children of the daycare transferred to another temp space due to this tragedy, She had trips in place days after to support the families and teachers at her expense and also the transportation. I seen that she tried to accommodate everyone to try and make this bearable. I applaud her for all her effort and can not wait till Darlene's Wee Care 4Kids reopens.
