  • I have had both of my children attend Pre-K at Diamond St, they are amazing! The staff here is fantastic, they have gone above and beyond to help my youngest feel more comfortable as he struggles with separation anxiety. They even made him a book about our family and a little schedule to show him when we will be picking him up. Now, a few months in, he insists on hugging every one of his teachers before leaving each day. I know he is in great hands, I can’t recommend them enough!

  • I have 2 children that were in DSECC Pre-K Counts program for two years and prepared them with fundamental learning experiences through play. My children challenged the teachers with social emotional development and problem solving situations that they now are successful in accomplishing task on their own. My children continue with the school age care and summer camp program this year which we are really excited about. The staff are genuine, respectful, and down to earth. You can tell that they really care about their job and the children that come along with it. They have great parent involvement and resources for families.

  • My wife and I are thrilled with the level of care and attention our 7 month old receives here. The teachers and staff are kind and nurturing. The app is updated regularly with feeding, sleeping, and bathroom information...as well as pictures of classroom activities and hugs from the staff. The entranceway/sign-in procedure is secure, and communication with the staff/administration is prompt and informative. They are reasonably priced and flexible (to a point) on hours. They don't have all the bells and whistles of the most expensive places, but our family doesn't need live video access. When we pick our son up at the end of the day, he's happy!

  • This place is the absolute best. I have never once doubted the level of care my children receive while they are there. Every single teacher and support staff I have ever encountered is kind, patient, well-informed, and genuinely seem to care about my children. So thankful for the environment they provide. Diamond street has been such a huge blessing to our family.

  • My child has been there for two years (in three different classes) and we have really loved his teachers. They have been kind, compassionate and have a love of children. Hope his future teachers continue to have a love of teaching young children.

  • You have to pay for diapers and wipes even if your child is completely potty trained???

Pennsylvania rates Diamond Street Early Childhood Center STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on September 30, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against Diamond Street Early Childhood Center?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against Diamond Street Early Childhood Center at the time the record was published. Does Diamond Street Early Childhood Center accept child care subsidy?

Yes. Diamond Street Early Childhood Center holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 10.

Does this page show inspection results for Diamond Street Early Childhood Center?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects Diamond Street Early Childhood Center's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
