  • Absolutely love Ducklings at Exton. They use the brightwheel app so you are notified of everything your child does throughout the day, which is such a nice reassurance as a FTM. My daughter started at Ducklings at 6 months old and she loves it, she loves her teachers and being with the other babies. Her teachers are wonderful and truly care about each baby in their room. SO happy with the choice we made in sending our daughter here!

  • We absolutely love Ducklings! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and reassured that our child would be in great hands. The teachers are warm, patient, and genuinely care about each child’s growth and happiness and the Director is awesome! The classrooms are always clean, organized, and filled with engaging activities that spark learning and creativity. Our son has grown so much socially, emotionally, and academically since starting here. Our older daughter joined this summer for camp & she heads a blast! It gave us such peace of mind knowing our children were safe, happy, and thriving in such a nurturing environment. 100% recommend Ducklings!

  • Both of our daughters have been going to Ducklings for about 6 months now and we can't say enough great things! The teachers they have had so far have been wonderful and they truly care about the kids. Our girls have both benefited in various ways from being there. Thank you, Ducklings!

  • We have been at Ducklings since it opened and our daughter has flourished there. She has been in 4 different classrooms and they teach her and care for her like she is their own, every step of the way. From her alphabet to colors to potty training, she has learned and grown so much there! We feel fortunate to have found such a great place for our daughter to learn, grow and have fun! Thank you for all that you do!

  • The 2 stars i did give are due to the curriculum. Everything else here is lacking with the exception of a few teachers. Management/the director for the exton location is clearly inexperienced and it shows. 1. The communication between parents and teachers is nonexistent and when Aly, the director, is asked to relay a message, it doesnt get relayed. 2. They are more concerned with opening all classrooms than the wellbeing and consistency for the students. Due to this, the kids are always changing classrooms and get separated from friends. 3. They may stay "in ratio" but the decisions about what teachers lead how many students with no backup makes no sense (a class of at least 7/8 3/4 year olds with one lead teacher and no help/assistant) so its clear the teachers get burnt out fast. 4. Turn around rate is outrageous. I know it is like that everywhere but this rate, with only being open 2 years, is alarming and typically points to poor management. Only one example of mismanagment, selfish reasonings and just telling parents what works for them; Our daughter had a hard time with potty training and the lack of understanding from the director was incredibly disheartening. They tried to move her out of the potty training class prematurely so they could open another room. When we protested, they made us feel like we were hurting her progress to "hold her back"(shes a july baby so she is on the cusp of the age range for classes). We went through with her moving. 2 weeks later, they called us back in to discuss moving her back down because she wasnt ready to move up due to potty training. My daughter takes a while to get used to new situations so moving her for a third time was out of the question. Its clear they didnt actually listen to our concerns in the first place and were only concerned about filling the next class. The only reason were still there is because we had a great teacher for a minute (Keira) but since she moved out of that class after only a few months, its been severely lacking and constantly changing. If you have another option for daycare, go with that.

  • I really can't say enough about this place. The staff is amazing and its oblivious that they care about my child and their experience. My child was actively learning, doing science experiments, engaged in daily physical play. Had the cutest graduation I have ever seen and made some amazing friends. She would like to work here when she grows up. I truly could not be happier with this place.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER?

Does DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. Does this page show inspection results for DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
