  • The experience for our family has been positive in recent months. Thank you to the many teachers that have helped our little one grow up and enjoy day care. We especially appreciate the attention and kindness we have seen from Ms. Julia I'm the Butterflies room. She fosters an environment that feels welcoming for us and our little one.

  • We have been with ducklings since 2021 and my first child is about to graduate preschool this year! Ducklings Landenberg has been a great choice for my family. The staff is loving and sweet and really take the time to get to know the kids. Ms. Mendi, Ms. Rachel and Ms. Julia are there to greet us every morning when we drop the kids off in the morning and I love seeing my kids run towards them, excited to start their day! There was a transition period when new management took over the center however I feel like we have settled back into the quality and stability we experienced prior to that transition. The new owners are very sweet, and my kids love giving them hugs at the end of the day. Overall we are thrilled to have been a part of this community, our children are always surprising us with new facts and songs and I feel like my pre-schooler is prepared to start kindergarten in the fall (with a whole bunch of best friends too) !

  • Ms. Becca has made our daughter’s experience at Ducklings so enjoyable. She always goes above and beyond and is simply a great person at heart. We are thankful to have our daughter in such a great environment.

  • We are having a wonderful experience with this Ducklings location. Our son is in the very best hands with Ms. Kristi. She is a natural with young children and provides my son with all of the love and attention he needs while away from home. He always goes happily into her arms at drop off! Plus she sends the best pics throughout the day. We are incredibly grateful to Ms. Kristi for being a part of our family’s village!

  • I’d like to take the opportunity to recognize Ms. Becca in the Cricket room. After a bumpy start to our time transitioning away from the warm, attentive, and communicative staff in the Infant and Waddler rooms, we have been grateful for the consistency, attention, and care that she has brought to the room since her arrival. Her presence and relationship with our daughter is evident from the moment we walk in for the day and our afternoons when she stays later are full of sweet goodbyes. She’s always able to share status updates that show she is attentive and caring for her well-being and development which has been a much welcomed improvement from when there was a lead teacher gap. Although I already have trepidation for an anticipated move up, I can only hope that we’ll continue to see improvement going forward. I’m hopeful that some of the communication gaps, billing confusion, and general staffing concerns will minimize and cease to exist with time. Ms. Katie as the new director has had a noticeably positive impact. At this point, my review reflects the impact of Ms. Becca. Without it, it would not be as high. I will be adjusting my review accordingly as things progress.

  • We have been at Ducklings for 5 years. We have had many wonderful teachers and the activities and the learning the kids do is great. Ms. Mendi is a fantastic teacher who really cares about the kids in her class and is a great educator. She is the reason we are still there.

Questions parents ask about DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER LANDENBERG

Is DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER LANDENBERG a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER LANDENBERG holds Pennsylvania certificate 104474670-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Chester County. The current certificate runs to April 30, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER LANDENBERG's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER LANDENBERG STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on June 26, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER LANDENBERG?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER LANDENBERG at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER LANDENBERG accept child care subsidy?

Yes. DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER LANDENBERG holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 19.

Does this page show inspection results for DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER LANDENBERG?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects DUCKLINGS EARLY LEARNING CENTER LANDENBERG's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
