My children have been coming to ECCC for almost a year and I can’t say enough great things about the staff and our experience here. They’re professional, friendly, and caring. I know my kids are in great hands and not only do I know they’re safe but I know they’re absolutely being loved on as well. I love that they have a few different playgrounds to mix it up as well as an indoor area for gross motor play on bad weather days. They also do in house field trips and special programming like music time with Mr. Ben.
Kayla YuditskyAug 22, 2025My son’s last day at ECCC is today, and the only reason he is leaving is because he has aged out of the program. Looking back to when we first enrolled in June 2014, I was a nervous new mom trying to balance motherhood and my career. The teachers and staff welcomed our family with kindness and support, and for the past 11 years they have guided, cared for, and loved my son as if he were their own. The curriculum has always impressed me with its thoughtfulness and depth. The teachers are highly educated in early childhood education, and it shows in how they nurture learning, creativity, and curiosity. They encouraged my son’s individual interests—like when he was fascinated with volcanoes at age 3 and was able to bring in a kit to share with his class—and have provided countless enriching experiences through activities and summer field trips. The center also provides excellent value with meals, snacks, in-house events, and outings included. While the program operates in a church building, it is non-denominational and inclusive, which was important to our family. We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact ECCC has had on our son and our family. If you are looking for a caring, well-established program that truly invests in children, I highly recommend ECCC.
Christine KeyserJul 31, 2025Excellent Daycare, The teachers and all the staff are wonderful people, My kid loves Elizabethtown Child Care Center and I recommend this Daycare!!!!!
Mildred GonzalezApr 10, 2025I adore this center. Having been around since 1969 the structure is there and it shows! My oldest started at 2.5 and is now in kindergarten and he has grown so much since being a part of ECCC. My middle kid started at 1.5 and he is so much more social and chatty than before he started. They both love the teachers and environment. Granted there has been turnover since we joined, which is typical for childcare, but it hasn't affected my kids! They love the art and music components and especially all the fun books! I hope this center stays around for a long time so even more children can grow and enjoy being kids!
Caryn O'BrienOct 10, 2024We have been with Elizabethtown Child Care Center for a couple of months now and they are phenomenal! They are always doing something fun with the kiddos, and teaching them actual life skills such as hygiene. Communication is great and frequent updates/photos of the activities are posted in an app. Parents can communicate anytime with the providers if any questions come up. Overall, I'm a happy parent and my daughter is excited to go back every morning.

- Pennsylvania rates Elizabethtown Child Care Center STAR 4 - ACC, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on August 31, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against Elizabethtown Child Care Center?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against Elizabethtown Child Care Center at the time the record was published. Does Elizabethtown Child Care Center accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. Elizabethtown Child Care Center holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 10.
Does this page show inspection results for Elizabethtown Child Care Center?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects Elizabethtown Child Care Center's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
