  • One of the most useless departments in the Commonwealth. Unless you are willing to pay them off, they will deem your property unbuildable.

  • Having a problem of sewage repeatedly spewing from a unused shower drain that my landlord has been zero help with , I think he’s about to find out once again , my friends have bigger badges . Between Health de partment , EPA and the “inner beltway “ he is going to regret underestimating my resolve once again , already $400 million in judgements against the city. Masks are recommended Wi-Fi is available ,and wheelchairs are fully Accesible .

  • What a Joke! No wonder this Covid 19 is spreading so fast again. If you get or have been exposed but have a vacation planned at a business like the Erie KOA camp site you are forced to still come there to camp or loose your money and owner of camp ground or Erie health can care less about exposure. So sad

  • What a joke. Making up rules as they go with complete disregard to reality.

Questions parents ask about Erie County Department of Health

Is Erie County Department of Health a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. Erie County Department of Health holds Pennsylvania certificate 1513584-0014, listed as "LISTED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Erie County. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is Erie County Department of Health's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania publishes no Keystone STARS tier for Erie County Department of Health. Keystone STARS is voluntary, so a provider with no tier has not taken part rather than been judged. Licensing and STARS are separate: a provider without a tier is still certified and still inspected.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against Erie County Department of Health?

Pennsylvania does not report on this for Erie County Department of Health. The sanction field is marked "N/A" in the state's dataset, which is not the same as a recorded "No". Look the provider up at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch for its licensing record.

Does this page show inspection results for Erie County Department of Health?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects Erie County Department of Health's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
