My daughter went here for many years and we never had anything but a good experience. My daughter learned a lot, made a lot of friends and went on some cool field trips.
Frank CaligiuriDec 24, 2025We love Explore & Learn! As a parent who has had two children attending here since 2021, I have had the complete opposite experience than the review posted a couple months ago, which is overwhelmingly positive. My children have had the same primary teachers in toddler, preschool, Pre-K and summer camps so very little turnover and they communicate regularly and provide flexibility with our family's needs. The staff is very friendly and geniunely care about my kids like their own children, which puts me at ease to know they are in a safe and nurturing environment. They provide enriching curriculum, activities and special events/field trips, which has made such a positive impact on my children's development. I have and will continue to recommend Explore and Learn to others!
Fallon NicholasOct 15, 2025Not only have I seen how hard working the people of this center are for YEARS but I also know that the people who work here care for and worry about each child like they are their own. The director is hard working and considerate and does her best to work with families and for the other employees. I have many times before and will continue to recommend this center for every person in need of childcare.
Kalina KolakowskiAug 12, 2025I wish I could give it zero stars !!! This place is not safe they have 1 teacher to 15-20 kids per room ; they refuse food have no communication and refuse child care regardless of what’s agreed on or a field trip if your child doesn’t go !!!! My son was there for 4 weeks and he’s now being pulled out !! Nothing but attitude from everyone especially the director who has no respect for anyone including parents and children !!!! Mind you there was an active shooter 4 weeks ago my son’s second day , 5 blocks away !!!!! THEY SAID NOTHING ABOUT IT ignored it !!! you want your kids safe this ain’t the place !!!!
Jess GoetzingerJul 24, 2025My son has been going there just under a year now. We are so impressed with how much he has improved since changing from the old daycare. He loves going in and greeting everyone in the morning. The communication is excellent between the staff and us, which we never got at the previous place. Thank you for caring about all the children in the center.
Diana StrawnMar 18, 2020AMC is family oriented, education focused and fun! All of their teachers are fully qualified, many of them holding higher degrees than necessary to teach, and ALL of the teachers and staff clearly love children and enjoy their jobs. My children have attended from 2009-2012. When my oldest started attending she had trouble adjusting socially and her teacher paid specific one on one attention to her and she also restructured the classroom to try and help her. My son had wrap-around services through Penn Foundation for behavioral problems and AMC graciously allowed his therapist to visit/participate with the class during normal school hours and they have always been very supportive and communicative about my children's day to day activities. Summer camp has always been awesome - lots of fun trips and activities and exciting things to keep them busy. I cannot stress enough the WONDERFUL staff and group of teachers AMC employs. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you want to send your children somewhere they will be genuinely appreciated and loved!!

- Yes. EXPLORE AND LEARN CHILDCARE AND LRNG CTR holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. Does this page show inspection results for EXPLORE AND LEARN CHILDCARE AND LRNG CTR?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects EXPLORE AND LEARN CHILDCARE AND LRNG CTR's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
