If you are looking for a good teacher for your little one, ask to be placed with Ms.Sandra! From our experience with her, she prioritizes the childrens creativity, social skills, healthy emotional regulation, and problem solving skills. My daughter has learned so much since being in her class. She's talking more and rapidly hitting new milestones for her age group! Her favorite part of the day so far is music and crafting time. I look forward to having her teach my youngest soon. Thank you Ms.Sandra ❤️!
Chrishonna DrakeMay 2, 2026We recently made the decision to withdraw our children from this daycare due to ongoing concerns with communication, professionalism, and overall conduct. On multiple occasions, neither my wife nor I were contacted when issues involving our children came up. As parents, that lack of communication is unacceptable. There was also a situation where our older daughter was accused of stealing a vape. This was an extremely serious allegation, and it raises a larger concern—there should never be a vape or anything similar around children in the first place. The situation was handled in a way we found highly inappropriate. Our daughter was told that staff had personal issues with her mother and was warned she could be removed from the center if accused again. Children should never be placed in the middle of adult conflicts. In addition, we were made aware that a staff member attempted to involve a 6-year-old child—who does not even attend the daycare, but instead goes to our daughter’s elementary school—to try to support the accusation. In our view, involving an unrelated minor in this way is completely inappropriate and out of line. A staff member also looked up my wife’s personal Facebook account and went through her photos. This was not only unprofessional but made my wife feel extremely uncomfortable and concerned about privacy boundaries. We attempted to address these issues directly, but the director declined to meet with us and did not provide any way to contact higher management. From our experience, concerns were dismissed, and staff accounts were accepted without any clear or fair investigation. We understand that no place is perfect, but parents should feel confident that their children are in a safe, respectful, and professionally run environment where concerns are taken seriously. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.
Khalief DessusApr 27, 2026Trusting your kids in someone else's hands is not easy. At first this daycare sounded like a perfect fit, however over the next 10 months we became aware of many shortfalls at this facility. They have grown exponentially, but were not focused on maintaining the same level of care that we originally felt comfortable. When we did report problems observed at drop off or pick up our concerns were brushed aside or we were carefully avoided by the manager so they didn't have to discuss the matters in person. Just take your kids to another daycare and save yourself the stress and money.

Haylee DonatoApr 26, 2023My niece loves going to First Class! She has learned so much since attending. She loves playing and learning with all the kids. She comes home everyday with a new story about her day! The teachers are nice and attentive to the children and the center is nice and clean.
Heidi HannaApr 26, 2023My kids love attending the daycare. Every morning their greeted by Ms Alyssa who I know cares about my babies so much. Next year they start kindergarten and I'm so sad to see them leave since they've had such a positive experience here. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for childcare!

Questions parents ask about FIRST CLASS LEARNING ACADEMY
Is FIRST CLASS LEARNING ACADEMY a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. FIRST CLASS LEARNING ACADEMY holds Pennsylvania certificate 103988506-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to October 4, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is FIRST CLASS LEARNING ACADEMY's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates FIRST CLASS LEARNING ACADEMY STAR 2, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on January 2, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against FIRST CLASS LEARNING ACADEMY?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against FIRST CLASS LEARNING ACADEMY at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does FIRST CLASS LEARNING ACADEMY accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. FIRST CLASS LEARNING ACADEMY holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.
Does this page show inspection results for FIRST CLASS LEARNING ACADEMY?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects FIRST CLASS LEARNING ACADEMY's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
