Recent parent reviews

  • I have had a great experience with them and am so happy that someone who genuinely cares about my kids are keeping them through the day

  • This business cuts a lot of corners and safety is not their main priority. The employees and assistant director talk poorly about parents and disabilities aren't taken seriously. It's concerning they're considered the best in the county for childcare. I would never trust them if I had children as no one there takes their job seriously except a select few.

Questions parents ask about Four Mile Childcare

Is Four Mile Childcare a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. Four Mile Childcare holds Pennsylvania certificate 101863763-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Beaver County. The current certificate runs to May 11, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is Four Mile Childcare's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates Four Mile Childcare STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on September 25, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against Four Mile Childcare?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against Four Mile Childcare at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does Four Mile Childcare accept child care subsidy?

Yes. Four Mile Childcare holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 3.

Does this page show inspection results for Four Mile Childcare?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects Four Mile Childcare's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
