  • If I could give the Franklin School-Age and Franklin Infant-Toddler 10 stars, I certainly would. There aren't enough words to express how much we love these centers. My daughter has attended these centers since she was 6 weeks old and is so loved by everyone there. I know that she is well taken care of every single day. I don't have to worry about anything. As she enters Kindergarten in the fall, it brings about a lot of mixed emotions and sadness but is also comforting that she will be able to attend the summer programs offered in Venango County. A huge shoutout and heartfelt "way to go" to these centers for all the love and support they show these children each day. We love you all so very much.

Questions parents ask about FRANKLIN AREA CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Is FRANKLIN AREA CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. FRANKLIN AREA CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 100221926-0007, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Venango County. The current certificate runs to March 30, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is FRANKLIN AREA CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates FRANKLIN AREA CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on June 13, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against FRANKLIN AREA CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against FRANKLIN AREA CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does FRANKLIN AREA CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. FRANKLIN AREA CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 1.

Does this page show inspection results for FRANKLIN AREA CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects FRANKLIN AREA CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
