  • My two older daughters went here until they started Kindergarten- they are now in elementary school. My son currently attends. I couldn’t imagine sending them anywhere else. I would recommend this preschool to anyone and everyone. The staff is friendly, caring, and you can tell they really love what they do. It feels good knowing they’re safe, happy, and learning every day.

  • The facilities here were nice and well maintained. The issues we had with Grace was their teaching staff and lack of willingness to adapt anything to a child's individuality. Their system was do it their way or your child is not successful. They were wanting to hold our son back due to some minor social delays and what they claimed were motor skills delays. We thankfully switched to a different pre-school and he excelled greatly there and has been doing well in kindergarten now.

  • I had a great experience with their 2 year olds classroom, my son lived it. I would love to say the same about the 5/full day class for 4 year olds. Unfortunately I can't. Feel free to reach out for details.

  • I would highly recommend GELC! My daughter is always excited to go and has made some close friends along the way. I think their curriculum is great and in the year she has attended I have noticed wonderful growth in her social and motor skills in addition to others. Our family will miss going there since she is off to kindergarten come fall. But I am fully confident GELC has given her a great foundation to start. Special thanks to Mrs Houck, Mrs. Drury and Mrs. Smith of the Shining Star room, and Mrs. Schul. Sophia always enjoyed your morning hugs. Thank you!

Questions parents ask about Grace Early Learning Center

Is Grace Early Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. Grace Early Learning Center holds Pennsylvania certificate 102835137-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Montgomery County. The current certificate runs to March 6, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is Grace Early Learning Center's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates Grace Early Learning Center STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on August 22, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against Grace Early Learning Center?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against Grace Early Learning Center at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does Grace Early Learning Center accept child care subsidy?

Yes. Grace Early Learning Center holds a subsidy agreement with the state. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 17.

Does this page show inspection results for Grace Early Learning Center?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects Grace Early Learning Center's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
