Our daughter started daycare here at six months old, and the team at great start has made the transition so much better than I could have expected! Our daughter comes home very happy (albeit very tired!), we receive regular updates and photos throughout the day, and when we arrive to drop her off, she smiles at Miss Diane immediately. Every question or request I have is answered within the hour further putting my mind at ease.I have no doubt that she is being well taken care of while there which has made a challenging transition, much easier. Thank you very much to Crystal and team.
Mairead HannaJan 16, 2026I loved taking my daughter to Great Start. I was thrilled when another day care opened in the area, as the other two in the neighborhood always had a waiting list. The director is a former teacher which made me feel confident that my daughter would be in a more structured environment instead of a glorified babysitter. My child was happy there and often asks to go visit since starting elementary school.

Siani SavageNov 27, 2023My daughter has been at Great Start for three years now. She loves it! The staff has taught her so much (colors, numbers letters, sharing, kindness, spelling, etc). Everyone is professional and sensitive to the needs of the individual child. Crystal is always very responsive to my questions and patient with the kids. Love Great Start so much!

The owner, Crystal, is very easy to work and communicate with whenever needed. The kids go for walks around the neighborhood and I get picture of their daily activities on the school mobile app. I highly recommend Great Start Preschool.

Our son loves going to school each day. We're grateful for the flexibility, communication, and regular updates with photos. It's a gem of a preschool and our son is flourishing because of it.
