  • We took our niece out of this place. Short staffed. They will leave your child all alone with a random man (the owners husband) while the teachers just leave their students early. No notifications. Very weird they have it set up so her husband can have alone time with a single little girl. Nicole is also very strange and seems like a “pick me” who would allow anything to happen. Take it from me, don’t let it be your child that ends up on the news. This is a warning. It’s not safe here and we literally ran her out of that “school”. They also “like to be called pop pop and grand ma”. Which should be a choice. When I wasn’t comfortable as that is unprofessional in a school setting, Nicole had an attitude. Why do you want my neice to call you guys that? It’s confusing to a toddler and a form of grooming. Niece had to go. Don’t Do IT.

  • My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was 5 months old — she’s now 6 — and I can truly say this place feels like family. From day one, the staff have treated her with so much love and care, and the atmosphere here is always warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. You can feel the genuine compassion the moment you walk through the door — the smiles, the laughter, and the comfort of knowing your child is in a safe, loving environment. Over the years, my daughter has grown, learned, and thrived here, surrounded by people who truly care about her well-being and happiness. This isn’t just a daycare — it’s a second home. I’m so grateful for the nurturing aura, the supportive staff, and the sense of community they’ve built. I couldn’t imagine a better place for my child to spend her early years.

  • Hands DOWN the BEST childcare facility I ever took my children to. As a former childcare educator, I’ve seen A LOT OF THINGS that made me nervous to place my children in a center knowing I will not be there, but the staff here, ESPECIALLY Mrs. Nicole, Mr.Joe & Mrs.Trina are by FAR EXCEPTIONAL! Not only did they build a rapport with me, but the relationships they established with my children, melts my heart in ways I can’t explain. My son has level 1 ASD and when I had a concern regarding pick up and drop off to his new school, Mrs. Nicole & Mr.Joe ensured my sons safety, AND THEY DID! My daughter and son have expressed that they love both Mrs. Nicole & Mr. Joe as if they were family, which again melts my heart being as though I do not have family here. If I can rate this establishment a 10 out of 10 I would! I don’t believe anyone who says otherwise, & if they do say otherwise, it’s probably because Mrs. Nicole doesn’t play about her policies and procedures, which is ANOTHER reason why I love this facility.

Questions parents ask about GUIDING HANDS LEARNING CENTER

Is GUIDING HANDS LEARNING CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. GUIDING HANDS LEARNING CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 104382783-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Delaware County. The current certificate runs to January 24, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is GUIDING HANDS LEARNING CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates GUIDING HANDS LEARNING CENTER STAR 2, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on February 18, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against GUIDING HANDS LEARNING CENTER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against GUIDING HANDS LEARNING CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does GUIDING HANDS LEARNING CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. GUIDING HANDS LEARNING CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 15.

Does this page show inspection results for GUIDING HANDS LEARNING CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects GUIDING HANDS LEARNING CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
