  • I reached out for information and felt the interaction was unnecessarily rude from a man named "Junior" who stated he is one of the teachers. It made me question the overall culture and communication style. Customer service is important, particularly in childcare.

  • Gummybear Childcare is outstanding! Gummybear Childcare has gone above and beyond for our family. As parents of a child who has seizures, trust and safety are everything to us and we would not leave him with just anyone. Every single staff member shows genuine care, patience, and love. They make accommodations other centers would never consider, and they do it without hesitation or making us feel like a burden. Our child has learned so much since starting here. He comes home excited every day, telling us about the new friends he’s made and showing us what he learned. It’s clear he feels supported, included, and encouraged. The building is always spotless, extremely well-kept, and you can tell the team takes pride in creating a safe, welcoming environment. They never ask for anything, yet they give so much to the kids and families they serve. We truly love Gummybear Childcare and could not recommend them more. They are always on the ball, always kind, and absolutely incredible at what they do. Highly recommend!

  • As a parent, I seek exceptional child care and education for my children, and Gummy Bear has surpassed my expectations. Their staff is extremely caring, genuinely loving the children and providing top-notch education to ensure my child's future success. I am truly grateful and blessed to have found such an outstanding daycare for my children. Thank you 😊 to all the gummy bear team !!! 🤗

  • This daycare is horrible place and shouldn’t be open for children they have broke up toys no qualified teachers and they could have really injured my grandchild who was having a seizure none of the staff their knew CPR and they waited for the director Kiesha to arrive before the paramedics were could 15 minutes they moved her off the cot she was already laying down on and tried to make her stand up and walk while actively having a seizure they whole staff is incompetent and if you look on their site they never passed inspection by the state 1 time! The State allows daycares 30 days to make right what’s 😑 I am suing this Not A Daycare and the children’s play area is in the parking lot in a cage like you would put A medium dog! You have been warned DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN THERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR CHILD. They have no learning skills nothing they are setting people’s children up for failure!! Because they do t have a real teacher on the premises that’s why they didn’t want parents to come inside the daycare they like to cover up their mismanaged doings!!

Questions parents ask about GUMMY BEARS CHILDCARE LLC

Is GUMMY BEARS CHILDCARE LLC a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. GUMMY BEARS CHILDCARE LLC holds Pennsylvania certificate 103215056-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Dauphin County. The current certificate runs to August 7, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is GUMMY BEARS CHILDCARE LLC's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates GUMMY BEARS CHILDCARE LLC STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on October 19, 2021. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against GUMMY BEARS CHILDCARE LLC?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against GUMMY BEARS CHILDCARE LLC at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does GUMMY BEARS CHILDCARE LLC accept child care subsidy?

Yes. GUMMY BEARS CHILDCARE LLC holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 9.

Does this page show inspection results for GUMMY BEARS CHILDCARE LLC?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects GUMMY BEARS CHILDCARE LLC's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
