my little brother goes to this daycare
Makayla CallamAug 15, 2026I am incredibly grateful for this daycare and the amazing care they provide for my daughter every single day. From the moment we walk in, we are welcomed with kindness, warmth, and genuine love. The staff is attentive, patient, and truly dedicated to each child’s well-being and development. I love how they combine learning with fun activities that help the children grow emotionally, socially, and academically. My daughter is always excited to go, and I can see how much she is learning through the creative activities, routines, and positive environment they provide. One of the things I value most is the sense of safety and peace they give me as a mother. Knowing that my daughter is in a secure place, surrounded by caring people who treat her with love and respect, means everything to me. It is such a blessing to leave her in a place where she is genuinely cared for and happy. Thank you for creating an environment full of love, learning, attention, and security. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a safe and nurturing place for their child.
Verónica AlmonteMay 20, 2026Hola tengo un ahijado ahí y puedo decir k son bastante responsables en cómo cuidan los niños y me gusta su comida k es muy variada para ellos .
Angela Martinez SantosMay 20, 2026I noticed how every comment is well over 5+ years ago, well let me be the first to update you guys on this establishment. I drop my kids off and pick them up. Lady is very indirectly rude towards me. Attitude is unneeded and very unprofessional. Does not communicate about my children. I asked how my kids day were and lady had just shrugged her shoulders and responded with “they love it here, they always do”. Rude answer and a very rude way to act when a parent asks how their children day was, very very very very upset and displeased. When i wait for my kids, i hear the other kids through the door picking on each other and hearing the kid scream ‘stop it’. Very displeased how staff would react to a parent picking up their children. Hopefully, HOPEFULLY this changes immediately. Update, just spoke with the staff, asked if there is anyone is mean to my son, due to me dropping him off and he was crying, STAFF VERY UNPROFESSIONAL !!!! she told me if i think there is a problem,. That i can just switch day cares and she rolled her eyes, very stand offish, and did not address my issues i had asked, parents should very concerned leaving your children with this specific lady, she is rude and disgusting with her attitude, i simply asked fir my childrens wellbeing. This lady is short, hispanic, and very rude ! Management needs to do something about this, this is on going !!! Another update, I noticed there is a camera in the lobby, it was on and recording, 4/16/26 6:53AM-7:02AM, if somehow camera footage does not exist, it was erased, please staff and management review the camera footage, this lady is very unprofessional and needs to be removed or retrained with social skills, I can only imagine how she treats the kids when she is upset after asking questions about my kids. I was nothing short of nice and respectful. Please I urge anyone in management to review this and correct this mistake. Why work in a children's growth place if staff cannot handle simple, respectful questions about their children ? Questions and concerns comes with the job, this lady was not accused in any type of way or form, she acted out of impulse and pure disgustingness. She acted more like a child than my own kids. Please, please, please, management and staff, please review this lady and please have something done. I was also asked my first day dropping/ picking them up, there is an app, and they would text pictures and give updates, this has not happened at all, I have not received a single message, picture, and or update about my children. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS LADY. IM NOT SAYING THE ESTABLISHMENT IS BELOW PAR, BUT THIS ONE PARTICULARLY LADY IS THE PROBLEM I HAVE SEEN. RETRAINED OR REMOVE, please staff, please, management I beg you.
FatkidfigApr 16, 2026Great daycare I love the staff, they treat my son like he’s family. I have no worries at all when my son is in their care. Very reliable and kind.
Jewel CallamAug 8, 2025Okay i waited 3 years before writing this. My kids were with kiddie city on union blvd for about 3 years and always complained about people hitting them.. i let it go because im thinking its kids & comes to find out it was one of the workers. They didn’t do anything about it they let it go. My kids never liked going even when i pass by they 3 years later i act like im dropping them off & they panic i can’t wait till their old enough and they tell me what really happened.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Smh

Is HAPPY FACES CHILD CARE a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. HAPPY FACES CHILD CARE holds Pennsylvania certificate 103449707-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Lehigh County. The current certificate runs to November 25, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is HAPPY FACES CHILD CARE's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates HAPPY FACES CHILD CARE STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on March 7, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against HAPPY FACES CHILD CARE?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against HAPPY FACES CHILD CARE at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does HAPPY FACES CHILD CARE accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. HAPPY FACES CHILD CARE holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 14.
Does this page show inspection results for HAPPY FACES CHILD CARE?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects HAPPY FACES CHILD CARE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
