Honey Bee Haven Early Learning

Honey bee haven was the best decision we ever made! Picking a daycare can be stressful but we never once questioned if this was the right place for us. So much heart went into creating this daycare and it shows in every aspect. The staff is wonderful and so communicative. We love getting daily pictures and seeing how much fun the little ones are having! The space is beautifully renovated and has natural light in all the rooms. And the playground behind the building is so fun and perfectly secluded. You know it’s the right place when your kid runs to get inside everyday! I especially love that the center has part time options which really fit our family’s needs. Every time I drop my kiddo off, I know that she’s more than safe, she’s loved there!

As someone who was never really a “daycare mom”, sending my kids to daycare was completely new for me. From day one, the teachers and administrative staff have done an amazing job keeping me informed and making me feel confident that the kids are in great hands. The updates and photos throughout the day are one of my favorites! It is so reassuring to see them smiling, learning, and having fun while I’m at work. The facility is beautiful, clean, and modern, and the staff truly care about the children. I am very happy with our experience and highly recommend them to other families!

While many parents would call this place ‘daycare’, we call it ‘school’ for our 14 month old because that’s exactly what Honey Bee is. As a first time mom and former teacher, there is no other place in Pittsburgh I would rather send my child and to whom I would entrust his education than Honey Bee. Each and every one of the teachers here knows my son’s name, what he likes, how his day went, asks how he is feeling when he is sick, and shares special/quirky things he does. While the pristine conditions of each room, the floor to ceiling windows, and stunning outdoor playgrounds for all ages would be enough to make anyone swoon, the real difference between Honey Bee and other childcare facilities lies in the implementation and execution of their educational philosophies and principals. Every child is nurtured, challenged, and encouraged in their development everyday. It is because of the attentiveness of the educators and owners that our son was able to begin and thrive in both physical therapy and occupational therapy. They continuously meet our son where he is developmentally and celebrate in his achievement of milestones with the same joy and happiness as my husband and I. I promise there is no one else who will care for and educate your child(ren) like the educators at Honey Bee. While I used to stress and cry when I would drop off my child at his former child care facility, I have never experienced anything close to this when taking my son in everyday. The teachers are communicative, responsive, take the most amazing pictures, and ensure that your children are loved and cares for while at school. RUN to enroll your child(ren) here - it is the best decision we have made for our son thus far, by far!

It’s so nerve-racking dropping your baby off at a new place especially as a first time mom. But since the very beginning, everyone here has made me feel so comfortable and reassured. Seeing how excited the teachers get when my baby comes and seeing how excited she gets to see her teachers just warms my heart and gives me such a sense of security. I recommend this daycare to everyone I know!!

We could not be more thrilled to have our daughter attending Honey Bee Haven! The staff and teachers are incredibly kind, caring and intentional with each day they spend with our kiddos. They have fantastic communication-we always know what our little ones have been up to throughout the day. They work hard to ensure our daughter, and us as parents, have the best experience possible. My daughter LOVES going to Honeybee and I have so much peace of mind knowing my daughter is in a safe and caring environment, while also learning, singing and dancing her little heart out!
