My son hated this camp. I wish I would have listened to him. He went to this summer camp for 2 years. His second year (and last) my son had an accident where he ran into another kid and his front teeth pierced through his bottom lip. I got a call and they said he was icing it and he should be fine, so I ended up not picking him up until the end of the day. Low and behold he ended up needed 4 stitches and had 4 adult teeth knocked loose. He stood in the car line looking delirious. I was irate. The negligence of this camp is unacceptable. He should have been taken to the ER and they told me he was fine. The camp facilities are not top notch, they have to use porter potties and they played on wood chips that got stuck to their towels everyday. I have to say you get what you pay for.
MHan SoloMay 13, 2026My 6 year old had the absolute best experience at camp here and couldn't wait to go each day with different activities daily, unique experiences, and making new friends- Hopwood staff created a beautiful and safe environment for him. They also handled his food allergies so well! Thanks for a great time- we'll be back next year!
