  • I had to pull my child out, I’ve talked to a few teachers both present and past. The most recent incident, the school did a practice fire drill not long ago and left an infant in the classroom the head teacher was not counseled nothing. One teacher was blamed for incidents she either could not control or wasn’t present for as well as not having any help from the director who is supposed to help if staff is short. Another teacher got sick and was told to choose better days to get sick. The director Katie hired a woman who has experience in teaching but was yelling and abusing the kids, they gave her numerous chances to change but she didn’t and unfortunately when things got worse cops were involved. There’s more I could say but you should get the point. This certain location goes through employees left and right because no one wants to stay there because of the director Katie H. Who will personally make up any reason to let you go and cannot stick with an actual reason.

  • We are beyond grateful to have Inspire- Schaffner in our lives! Everything about this school has been perfect from the beginning for our child. You could not find a more caring and experienced group of educators elsewhere. The location and layout of the facility are wonderful. The curriculum is top notch. I can’t fathom where my son would be developmentally or cognitively without Inspire and I truly mean that!

  • My 3 year old daughter has been attending here for over 2 years and absolutely loves it. The staff are excellent and have been nothing but a pleasure to interact with. Everyday my daughter comes home with a smile on her face excited to tell me about her day. Would highly recommend to anybody seeking out childcare in the area.

  • Our daughter has been going to this daycare since she was 2 and she absolutely loves it. She is in the preschool program now and she is learning so much. Her speech is getting better and more fluent. She loves playing with her friends and has so much fun. She attends part time but she is always asking me to go there everyday. The teachers and the director are nice and seem to take good care of the kids. I absolutely recommend this facility.

  • My son attended this daycare for about two years from when he was 2 and 3 years old. When he first started there, the staff was much better. As time went on and staff became scarce, it showed when my son would come home with bite marks on his face from other kids that bite. This happened quite a few times during his attendance at this particular daycare. We complained to the individuals who seem to run the place, but they did not seem to concerned. One time I went to pick up my son, I walked in, and the teacher was sitting on the floor with her legs out. My son saw me, came running, and tripped over her legs and fell flat on his face and started crying. What did the teacher do? Nothing at all, continued to sit there with her legs out. I am not sure how it is now since he has been out of this place for about two years now, but if it is still the same as it was when he used to attend there, I would not recommend this place to keep your children. There are not even teachers to offset the amount of kids that are attending to ensure bad accidents do not happen. Edited: Replying to your reply. My son attended this daycare for over a year, how do you not have a record of him attending there?

Questions parents ask about INSPIRE EARLY EDUCATION

Is INSPIRE EARLY EDUCATION a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. INSPIRE EARLY EDUCATION holds Pennsylvania certificate 104094536-0004, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Dauphin County. The current certificate runs to January 24, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is INSPIRE EARLY EDUCATION's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates INSPIRE EARLY EDUCATION STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on January 27, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against INSPIRE EARLY EDUCATION?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against INSPIRE EARLY EDUCATION at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does INSPIRE EARLY EDUCATION accept child care subsidy?

Yes. INSPIRE EARLY EDUCATION holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 9.

Does this page show inspection results for INSPIRE EARLY EDUCATION?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects INSPIRE EARLY EDUCATION's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
