  • Our Y is wonderful! Lots of kid focused activities and the child watch is great! Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Very grateful to have such a bustling hub in our community.

  • This YMCA has been an absolute blessing. My favorite staff member is Kerri at the front desk staff. She’s been an absolutely wonderful asset to have at the front desk and knows us by name. She’s also always very quick to help us sign up for parents night out. We also love the pre-K and are super happy with how many programs they have to offer the kiddos. Swim lessons in pre-K have been an absolute hit. Everything’s newly renovated and looks amazing. Thanks again.

  • We absolutely love the swim classes at the Jennersville Y with Ms. Paula! She is so good with my daughter and is so accommodating to all the kids in the class. She’s very friendly, welcoming and makes everyone feel so comfortable. As a parent, I especially love the water safety information she provides us in the beginning of each class. Ms. Gloria, Director of Swim Instruction, is also so kind and always available to answer questions. They allow you plenty of time before class and after class to hang out in the pool with your child even for families like us who are non-members. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

  • It's a good place to meet people with similar interests and goals. After an intense workout, it is nice to have a cup of free coffee and exchange ideas and experiences. The YMCA helps me stay more disciplined. Member Appreciation Days are nice, especially when there is fresh popcorn to share. The YMCA offers a wide variety of activities and specialized classes.

  • I visited this YMCA for a swim meet and this one is huge. The parking lot situation is challenging with multiple areas to park. YMCA facilities are maintained well. The restrooms are clean and okay for one next to swim area.

  • We love the YMCA! My whole family feels very comfortable there, and the kids see staff who have been there for all 13 years of their lives. When my son excitedly runs into The building for basketball practice, or can’t wait to learn flag football for the first time, and I watch his confidence soar through the camaraderie and coaching, I am so grateful! My daughter has a disability, and she feel welcomed and safe there. When staff remember details about our family and check back in to see how things are going, it shows that they truly care. This is what makes our local Jennersville YMCA so very special!

Questions parents ask about JENNERSVILLE YMCA

Is JENNERSVILLE YMCA a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. JENNERSVILLE YMCA holds Pennsylvania certificate 100125939-0037, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Chester County. The current certificate runs to December 1, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is JENNERSVILLE YMCA's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates JENNERSVILLE YMCA STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on January 28, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against JENNERSVILLE YMCA?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against JENNERSVILLE YMCA at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does JENNERSVILLE YMCA accept child care subsidy?

Yes. JENNERSVILLE YMCA holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 19.

Does this page show inspection results for JENNERSVILLE YMCA?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects JENNERSVILLE YMCA's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
