Very unorganized staff & directors they don't keep the kids they let them do whatever they want
Yeet WebbJan 30, 2025Excellent place. When we moved to York we kept our son enrolled because we are so happy with the teaching and care our son gets. The staff is absolutely amazing.
Robert WhitefordJan 13, 2023We love K-Prep! Happy to have found this daycare for our daughter.
Sarah AlbericoJan 11, 2021Unfortunately I have had now two terrible experiences with this place which, to me, outweigh the good experiences my son did have there. Here is my review from Facebook so I don't have to get emotional writing about it again: (Please see 2019 update below.) While I do feel the owner and staff are genuinely invested in the education and well-being of the kids, if your child has special needs that cause disruptions in the classroom they will ask you to leave and then report to the government that your child had unexcused absences so you are removed from the program. I feel like I paid way to much money to be treated like I didn't matter. She wouldn't even return my calls or emails when I tried to contact about the discrepancy - guess she was just glad to be rid of us. Made me super sad. 💔😢 Update 8/27/19 - Claimed to have not known about this problem and not to have received any of my calls or emails, but did know about this review and still never reached out to me to apologize or clarify what happened on their end. I feel absolutely betrayed at this point. I can't believe I ever recommended this place! I guess you live and learn. 😫

Questions parents ask about K-Prep Learning Center
Is K-Prep Learning Center a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. K-Prep Learning Center holds Pennsylvania certificate 101626910-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Lancaster County. The current certificate runs to June 30, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is K-Prep Learning Center's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates K-Prep Learning Center STAR 3, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on January 20, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against K-Prep Learning Center?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against K-Prep Learning Center at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does K-Prep Learning Center accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. K-Prep Learning Center holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 10.
Does this page show inspection results for K-Prep Learning Center?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects K-Prep Learning Center's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
