  • We’ve been part of the Kaleidoscope Childcare Center family for nearly 6 years now, and both of my boys have attended, my youngest still does. I can’t say enough about the level of care and connection here. The director is incredibly involved, approachable, and always willing to help. The staff truly goes above and beyond—they don’t just supervise the kids, they build real relationships with them and genuinely care. One of the things I appreciate most is the communication. Through the Brightwheel app, I can easily message teachers and get quick responses. I also love receiving updates, photos, and videos throughout the day—it gives such peace of mind knowing how my child is doing. We are so grateful for the role Kaleidoscope has played in our family’s life and would absolutely recommend them to others!

  • We love Kaleidoscope!! I come from a family of childcare workers so I was pretty strict on where I would take my son and this place is fantastic! From the time he started at 3 months old, I have felt very comfortable there. The director and teachers really care and make you feel like family! He enjoys going as well and always looks forward to seeing his teachers and friends!

  • Despite moving further away from Kaleidoscope, we decided to keep our boys enrolled here because the staff is incredible. The owners, Michelle and Dave, truly make the atmosphere calm and loving while ensuring quality education for our children. I cannot say enough good things about every teacher. Thankful for the care that they give my babies!

  • My two kids went here and this place is amazing! Both children are in advanced classes at South Fayette! This place and program is amazing and truly gets your kids prepared for kindergarten and the future! The teachers treat the kids like they are their own!! The Owner Miss Michelle never stops pushing kids to be better and creating fun lasting memories while learning at her school! I truly would recommend this place to anyone who wants your child set up for early development and success! Just absolutely amazing!!

  • My husband and I have been a family of Kaleidoscope Child Care Center since August 2022. When we moved to Upper St. Clair at that time, Kaleidoscope was the only facility that was fully staffed and able to enroll us within a 3 month time window. That speaks HIGHLY to their staff retention, as many other centers are not able to accommodate for up to a year. My daughter is now 4 and has had FANTASTIC teachers across the board. My husband and I are BEYOND impressed with Miss Olivia and her management of Preschool 4. Amelia has had some wonderful teachers at Kaleidoscope, but Miss Olivia has truly been something special. Our daughter is positively excited to go to school every day, and she absolutely adores her teacher! We are blown away that she can already write her name, and we love hearing how much she loves helping and doing chores (even if she doesn't have the same enthusiasm at home). I will say, she has gotten better with putting away her belongings at home, so I attribute that to work in Preschool 4. We are very thankful to have found such wonderful people not only take care of our child, but ensure that she is thriving.

  • Kaleidoscope has been a difference maker in my children’s life for over 3 years. The director knows each of the children personally and does a great job hiring caregivers. The whole team creatively come up with enriching and fun learning activities all year long. All of the teachers genuinely care about each of the children. They have been extremely helpful while we navigate some mental health challenges with our daughter. Everyone has been accommodating and compassionate with her/us. Preschool teachers go above and beyond to implement interventions, complete paperwork, and communicate with us. I have always felt comfortable leaving my children at kaleidoscope. We are so thankful for Kaleidoscope and all they do!

The current certificate runs to December 13, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is KALEIDOSCOPE CHILD CARE CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates KALEIDOSCOPE CHILD CARE CENTER STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on June 4, 2019. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against KALEIDOSCOPE CHILD CARE CENTER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against KALEIDOSCOPE CHILD CARE CENTER at the time the record was published. Does KALEIDOSCOPE CHILD CARE CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. KALEIDOSCOPE CHILD CARE CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 5.

Does this page show inspection results for KALEIDOSCOPE CHILD CARE CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects KALEIDOSCOPE CHILD CARE CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
