My son attended this daycare since it opened, he left because we are moving out of state. Please note, this review is not to trash Kiddie Academy, it is just to inform other perspective parents. Pros: -My kid was always safe and fed. I had no worries there. The meals they make are nutritious and he actually enjoyed them. -The playground is nice, well-kept and fenced in. When the weather is not ideal there is a room set up that the students can play in. -There are cameras in the classroom you can access at all times. -Some of the teachers and staff are amazing. We have had some of the nicest teachers with my son that have truly cared for him. The facility is very clean. My son does not get sick often and the facility is noticeably clean. Cons: -If you don’t like screen time, this is not the place for you. Kids watch videos(things like Danny Go)/movies a good chunk of everyday. If it is not on the interactive screen in the classroom, teachers may have their laptops they use to show videos. -The teachers are on their personal phones A LOT. You can watch it on the cameras in the classroom. Admin is aware and has been “trying to address” the problem. -There are not a lot of toys or supplies in the classrooms. I have had teachers ask me to donate construction paper, and when I have gone to help with parties two separate classrooms only had parts of crayons and only a few for the whole class to chose from. Toys and books are very lacking in all classrooms. -Classrooms do not follow the Kiddie Academy curriculum. Sometimes they follow the same subject matter and my son can tell me things he has learned, but a lot of the time nothing on his “report card” for the day was done. (I also watch the cameras throughout the day and can verify this). He has never learned any Spanish though is it advertised and documented that he does daily. Overall, I am not upset I chose Kiddie Academy. Would I do it again? No. This specific Kiddie Academy just has some issues and some staff training they need to figure out, but my son was safe and fed while he was there.
Megan EdwardsAug 10, 2025I highly do not recommend this facility. Shortly after my son transitioned to the toddler room at age one, he had two head injuries within a week. The first occurred when another child was playing on his back, causing him to hit his head on the floor and came home with a noticeable knot on his forehead. The children in this classroom are allowed to climb on each other, resulting in unsafe play. The following week, while a teacher was changing his diaper, he hit his head on the corner of the changing counter and required stitches. I was not notified when the incident occurred; I seen the injury once I picked him up and noticed he was bleeding through bandages. When I expressed my concern, the teacher casually responded, “I guess I didn’t catch him in time.” I was told my son would be moved to a different classroom the next day, but after only three days, he was returned to the original room I had specifically requested he not be placed in. I repeatedly requested a meeting with the director, but it was delayed multiple times. When the meeting finally took place, the director and her husband were dismissive, passive-aggressive, and made it clear they had no intention of addressing the teacher’s behavior. They stated that the teacher would not be written up, removed from the classroom, or reassigned. Based on my experience, this daycare prioritizes profit over the safety and well-being of the children. The leadership lacks appropriate educational qualifications and does not foster a safe or accountable environment. Additionally, I noticed a lack of structured, developmentally appropriate learning activities. Each time I checked the classroom camera, the children where engaged only in free play, with little to no evidence of curriculum-based instruction or educational engagement. I also consistently picked my child up in need of a diaper change, and he frequently developed diaper rashes.
Ahmanii SimmonsJul 31, 2025If your kids have a disability this is not the place for your child. It was hell from day 1. They will abuse and neglect your kids even with the cameras rolling. If you try to voice your concerns The teacher will perform like a two-year-old and throw a tantrum and go home and still have a job. (can’t handle criticism). The teacher put my kids on the hard floor laid him down flat to drink a bottle (dangerous) they ran out of food my kids would have to just sit there and watch the other kids eat. The staff is unprofessional and so are the owners. They only care about keeping their disrespectful staff happy so that they won’t have to work in the classroom. The toys are on the floor all day long, with the kids just bitting on them. They don’t clean or disinfect them, they just put them back in the toy box.The kids are sick all the time. My son was stand up in the highchair no one stripped him in and didn’t even try to sit him down. I would never recommend this place to anyone save yourself from headache. The staff are On the cell phone all day long, not attending to the children.
Michelle HallJul 3, 2025My son loves his daycare; the staff is very respectful and kind. A great option if you’re looking for a childcare center for your kids. My son has been in this daycare for five months. The teachers are very respectful and professional…
Keikei EspietApr 1, 2025Our daughter loves going to school at Kiddie Academy! The teachers in her classroom are kind, welcoming, and engaged in her learning all throughout the day! She is learning new things each day and is making many new friends. We are very happy here!
Lauren BurnsDec 20, 2024My daughter has attended Kiddie academy since it’s opened. I truly am grateful for the teachers as they have become family. My daughter enjoys going to school everyday. She is excelling very well for only being 3 yrs old. They do amazing fun activities, and a lot of educational things as well. My daughter is currently enjoying the summer camp ventures. We appreciate the owners and the administration staff for always being there as an open ear in case I needed something. I definitely recommend kiddie academy.
