My son is doing amazing. I love the staff and directors
Soraya SurotchakMay 19, 2026The childcare facility we have been searching for! Having come from a corporate owned facility where our daughter did not Gro, Cassie and Austin at Kiddie Academy are what you would expect to have in ownership and leadership. Recently added Center Director Amy adds positively to the leadership team. The teaching staff has all been friendly, positive and ones that our kids have really grown fond of and as parents, are staff that all seem to care and like what they do. When we had a few behavioral issues recently with our child, the team of Cassie and Amy worked with the great teachers in their class to try to identify the root cause and also worked to find solutions to positively (but discreetly) work to better the behavior. The facilities are great, clean, comfortable and very inviting. The staff employed in non-teaching roles is great at keeping a clean space that seems to be fairly germ free! Kiddie Academy of Lancaster also employs their own chef that handles all snack and meal prep for the classrooms. The fact that our daughter knows Mr. Riley’s name is awesome! We have recommended Kiddie Academy to anyone looking for a new option for local childcare. There are many families here that came from our previous facility as well as one of the teachers. 5 out of 5 review is deserved and something that is earned every day of the week !
Michael LavertyMay 19, 2026Since starting Pre-K at Kiddie Academy summer 2025, my granddaughter has been thriving. She has been making great strides in every subject and loves going to school to learn. I love their curriculum.
Elizabeth MaldonadoFeb 21, 2026I think its time that I share my story with other parents that truly would like a honest review and especially if you have a child that maybe experiencing some delays. I have always notice something was different with my son and I have always been his biggest advocat. I started to get him the speech therapy and occupational therapy that he very so much needed. In the beginning Kiddie Academy showed that they had all of their ducks in a row until they no longer did. The problem was my non verbal autistic son was left outside for over 10 minutes. 10minutes and 31 seconds to be exact. I dont know much about his current teacher but I can attest that his previous teacher was amazing with him before they hired the current (the one that left him outside). When this issue occurred I was called while at work and was informed that he was left outside however the teacher noticed immediately so there was not much to worry about. Me being a previous headstart teacher knew what the deal was but was yet confused because you count you children each time you leave the room and enter another one and exc. If you know you know. Moving forward the way that the owner expressed happened made it seem as if this all happened within a span of a minute or 2 and I was concerned but not as concerned until DHS called my husband in regards to the Kiddie academies neglect. And when the young lady showed up at my home and expressed the exact time he was left outside I knew then I needed to have a conversation with the owner because she was not at all truthful with me. I spoke with her and she explained that he was not out there for that long and proceeded to show me the footage of my son looking for everyone and playing with his shadow and continuing to look for everyone I began to get emotional because he was well aware something was not right and looked like he was looking for the teachers and students. That video truly broke my heart and all that Cassandra could say was that they are going through training again?. Which to me was completely unacceptable there was no accountability taken what so ever. Moving forward to a few days later I was reached out to have a brief meeting about my son and his behaviors(please keep in mind my son is not aggressive in any kind of way he simply can not speak but can grab your hand and show you what he wants and exc) during this meeting it consisted of her husband and the director pretty much saying two different things Cassandras husband was saying this is not the place for my son meanwhile it seemed that the director was willing to go threw the actual steps in maybe having a 1on1 with himself the whole conversation was conflicting. But when Cassandra sent me an email in regards to the meeting she never attended saying that she her daycare can not assist with my son and his disabilities I knew exactly what it was ... and thats damage control I as a mother felt crushed and expressed if she could explain what measures did she take especially with the ADA laws if they were considered and till this day she has never responded! I have since then taken my son out of that daycare and best believe I am taking other precautions. If you have a child that is on the spectrum please find a better daycare and please be the biggest voice you can be for your child. Currently right now I am home schooling him because I no longer trust these centers! 10 minutes and 31 seconds is insane and it was cold out that morning Yes it was in the morning!what happened was completely unacceptable and unforgivable. Sadly this was only the base I was reached out by a center saying that I was interested when I never was and was told that Cassandra reached out to them on behalf of me when I never asked her to do so the young lady then told me she gave her all of my information including my son's insurance information which she thought was also suspicious again damage control. However this is not the end of my fight!.
Birdstweet TVDec 8, 2025Teachers are amazing. My son is shy to anyone new, at his old day care it took almost a year for him to feel comfortable with his classroom. Since transitioning to any new care facility is always a big change he did cry on his first day, but when I tell you he had a massive turnaround within the same day that is a remarkable feat. He has been excited to go to school everyday and he vocalizes how much he loves his teachers. Keep up the amazing work! Staff is very friendly. It’s a secure modern facility very different from our previous experience where people crowd the door trying to get in on someone else’s badge swipe. Very engaging activities with frequent photos updates and camera access. Couldn’t recommend this facility more.

- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
