  • To each its own ……. My two kids love it !!!

  • It is unfortunate that I have to write this. My daughter from 4 months old has been at Kiddie Kapers and my son who is only now 5 months old. She is now 20 months and we’ve transferred. I’ve watched on video as my infant son was almost flipped out of his chair by a toddler, climbed on by a toddler, I saw very little interaction between the “teachers” and the toddlers, patting children to sleep fairly hard, my 18 month old was accused of giving a teacher a concussion with plastic bowl and while there there was a little girl in the baby room crying her heart out while the “teacher” stood there with her arms folded and a scowl on her face. Kiddie Kapers is family run and most of them lack the maternal instinct it takes to love children. That family will unfortunately be protected over your babies.

  • Walked in to check it out because I needed to put my 2 kids in daycare. I feel bad for those kids, the one lady was yelling right in front of me at the young toddlers for nothing! Everyone looked grumpy, no smiles. Super small inside too. Stay away, I am not taking my kids there!

Questions parents ask about KIDDIE KAPERS

Is KIDDIE KAPERS a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. KIDDIE KAPERS holds Pennsylvania certificate 100136825-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Carbon County. The current certificate runs to October 24, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is KIDDIE KAPERS's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates KIDDIE KAPERS STAR 2, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on April 3, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against KIDDIE KAPERS?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against KIDDIE KAPERS at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does KIDDIE KAPERS accept child care subsidy?

Yes. KIDDIE KAPERS holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 12.

Does this page show inspection results for KIDDIE KAPERS?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects KIDDIE KAPERS's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
