  • An amazing daycare the only daycare that will pick your children up from their home And take them back and the parents are not charged. I have that the parents that like to complain are the ones getting help from the systems. (CCIS). I never had an issues with my grandchild being there . The staff are putting majority of the learning that parents should be doing at home into the children. The owner goes out her way and planned Mother Days event shutting down restaurants for the parents , giving Gift especially around the holidays to the students and parents .. the staff are caring and treat each child like their own .. I recommend KKC

  • So I was very optimistic about having my son there. I went on a tour and everything that was said to me sounded amazing and everything was going good up until a month or two being there when my son came home mind you he was just turning a year old came home and was throwing up and gagging very tired and lethargic and he winded up throwing up a rapper from a snack and all I was told was oh I guess we didn't see it but to me that just meant that you weren't keeping an eye on my child. Then a couple months later he winds up getting hand foot and mouth then as I would pick him up and the majority of the time he was very messy not kept well smelled like cooking oil and seemed very down for me it felt like he was being neglected. Even dropping him off in the morning he would scream. Then I started noticing new people all the time which I don't think is healthy for children that age because they're used to consistency and a lot of them were very young. Also there was an incident outside of the daycare that had to do with the family who owned it and almost turned into a very bad fight. The two weeks that my son was out of daycare because of the hand foot and mouth not once did the owner check up on him to see if he was okay which upset me because I am trusting these people with my child everyday and the fact that you are not concerned concerns me. The last and final incident happened when they were outside in a blow up pool and my friend so happens to be walking by the daycare when she seen him drinking the water out of the pool where there are other little children like him and diapers probably peeing and pooping and she said to the girl that he was drinking water and all she said was oh he's okay then my son winded up getting sick with E coli for almost 2 weeks he could not eat he could not drink milk it was a disaster especially after the hand foot and mouth. And when he was sick then the owner still never reached out to make sure he was okay at that point I was frustrated and hurt and I had to find somewhere new. And the place that I found is absolutely amazing. From the moment he walked in the door he was very excited and adjusted very well. One thing I forgot to mention is when picking up my son at this daycare you were not allowed to go in and grab your child they would bring him down to me and I would be waiting sometimes 10 minutes whereas this place they have security and they have codes to get in the doors which they provide us with and also have 24/7 video surveillance of the room he is in the teachers are so nice and now when I pick my son up his demeanor is totally different. He is happy and excited and that makes me happy. So I would not suggest this place especially if you have a younger child and you want to know that your child is being taken care of properly and not being put in a corner somewhere to cry because that's how I feel things were going just off of his mood when I would pick him up. It's just not a very well run establishment. If I would have known The Experience my son was going to have their versus me staying home from work to be with him I would have stayed home.

  • I am so disappointed with this place. Definitely. Expected more from them on the initial visit. When speaking with the owner, it seemed like it was going to be the best place possible for my child, but as time went on we just kept dealing with issue after issue from my child, that wasn't even one yet swallowing something and them, not even knowing that he swallowed something. They told me oh, he was throwing up as soon as he got With me He wouldn't stop laying on the floor so I don't think that just happened out of nowhere. The daycare had no idea. He swallowed something until I gagged my child until something came out of his throat. And then continuously got sick and gets hand foot a mouth disease that was so bad that he still has scars on his body from it. And trust me, I know that kids get sick in daycare, but when they're not being watched properly, they get even sicker. To the point where a family member was passing the daycare on their swim day. And seeing that my child was drinking the water that all the kids were swimming in and when she actually said something to the staff, they said no, he's fine, he's okay, did not stop him. So the next day afterwards, he was deathly sick. Couldn't keep anything down me. And my wife and i brough him in the children's hospita ER to make sure our chd is fine, but he wasn't. He was sick for over a week. Could not keep anything down, and you would think that the person that kept telling us That our child was like family would have checked in with us just to see how he was doing. We never got a call. We never got a text message, so to any other families out there.Trust me, do your research before picking a daycare. I think their biggest problem is they continuously change staff and a lot of the staff is very young. and one other thing we should be allowed to go up and see our child. While they're in daycare, we shouldn't be stuck behind a locked door waiting for them to bring us our kid or for them to stink, like cooking oil when you pick them up

  • We are so thankful for KKEC! With my son being on the spectrum it is nerve-wracking placing him in any type of center, but the staff and structured curriculum have helped my son flourish so much in a short time. He loves going there and we can be assured he is in good hands. The director has personal and educational experience that lets us know he is getting the best quality of care and education. Thank you KKEC for making a difference in our son’s and our lives!

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
