  • My son started here in October 2024 and enjoys going to daycare everyday. She provides a stimulating environment, varied curriculum, and plenty of opportunities for play, both indoors and outdoors. Good communication, provides immediate updates if any issues arise with my son and follows up with responses to my questions. Also provides flexibility in schedule for parents needing 3 days a week vs full week daycare. We started as part time before transitioning to full time earlier this year. Highly recommend as a provider and plan to send my son here until he starts kindergarten ( he’s currently 2 years old).

  • My son currently goes to this daycare and I am very happy I found it. It’s right on my block which is very convenient and my child is getting quality care. He is very excited to go to school which is very telling. Would highly recommended

  • Love the skills that my granddaughter (age 2) is learning. (Colors, numbers, ABC’s and technology). I can’t imagine what age 3 will bring…..PreK she will be ready!

  • More than just a daycare or babysitting service , This place is nurturing and intimate so your children get the time and love that they need all while learning, this is what childcare has been missing!!!!

  • Safe, clean friendly atmosphere where your child will learn from dedicated staff. They will learn social skills, letters, numbers, shapes, colors and more. Schedule a walk through today.

  • I really enjoyed the experience I had on open house. The Kilgore Family Childcare is an excellent addition to the neighborhood. They have quality childcare that not only teach the children lessons on alphabet, numbers and colors. They are even learning Spanish. The children get outside recreation, meals and naps. They are a great asset to the community.

Questions parents ask about KILGORE FAMILY CHILDCARE

Is KILGORE FAMILY CHILDCARE a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. KILGORE FAMILY CHILDCARE holds Pennsylvania certificate 103605294-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to September 27, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is KILGORE FAMILY CHILDCARE's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates KILGORE FAMILY CHILDCARE STAR 2, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on March 25, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against KILGORE FAMILY CHILDCARE?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against KILGORE FAMILY CHILDCARE at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does KILGORE FAMILY CHILDCARE accept child care subsidy?

Yes. KILGORE FAMILY CHILDCARE holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.

Does this page show inspection results for KILGORE FAMILY CHILDCARE?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects KILGORE FAMILY CHILDCARE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
